It’s the end of an era for this Disney theme park.

Each one of Disney’s theme parks is changing in very exciting ways, though the most interesting developments may be found over in France. Disney’s one and only European resort is moving fulls steam ahead on a number of projects, ranging from new fast-food locations to brand-new rides.
The same thing can be said for Disney’s domestic theme parks, with big things in the works for both Disneyland in Anaheim and Walt Disney World in Orlando.
However, only one of Disney’s theme parks is getting a full-on rebrand, and it’s found in Paris.

Disneyland Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park is getting a total makeover, one that will see the park get a new name. Eventually, Walt Disney Studios will be known as Disney Adventure World, a name that will give the park a wider range to add more attractions and experiences.
Over the last several months, guests have watched as signs and graphics get removed ahead of this rebrand. Now, it seems like the final remaining original “Walt Disney Studios” sign has been torn down, as revealed by Cave of Wonders on X.

The name isn’t the only thing changing at the park. Work recently began on Walt Disney Studios’ new ride inspired by The Lion King. Announced last year during Disney’s D23 event, this new log flume attraction is an important moment, not just for Walt Disney Studios but for Disneyland Paris as a whole.
The new ride will look and feel similar to Disney’s former Splash Mountain attraction. Guests will pile into logs and traverse the Pridelands as they explore iconic scenes from Disney’s classic animated film. However, this new ride is set to be much larger than all of Disney’s previous water-based adventures.
New details of the ride were released earlier this year, revealing that not only will the attraction itself be bigger, but so will the actual ride vehicles.
Next year, Disney Adventure World will also be home to Paris’ new World of Frozen expansion. Opening in Spring 2026, this large new land will transport travelers into the world of Arendelle, as seen in Disney’s box office-smashing Frozen franchise.
World of Frozen will be home to new rides and attractions and new places to explore.
