Walt Disney World unleashed a wave of new price hikes this October, affecting everything from food and drink prices to the actual cost of theme park tickets. Now, the highest price for a ticket to Magic Kingdom is north of $200, and guests will also be paying more for Lightning Lane passes.
Disney World also confirmed the buildable droid and lightsaber experiences at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge would also be getting a price hike. Not only that, annual passes also saw a slight price increase.
However, the one area where customers may feel the new prices most is parking, which has also received a small increase.

Starting today, guests will be paying more to park their cars at Walt Disney World. Standard pricing is up from $30 to $35. Oversized parking is up from $35 to $40. Preferred parking rates lie between $50-$60, up from its previous price of $45-$55.
Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels can take advantage of free self-parking. Annual Passholders also receive complimentary parking at the theme parks. Parking is also complimentary at both Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks, as well as Disney Springs.
Guests can drive their personal vehicles to and from the theme parks. Guests driving to Magic Kingdom will have to leave their car at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then travel the rest of the way via Monorail or ferry to Magic Kingdom.
Guests can also use Walt Disney World’s complimentary bus service, which travels to and from all four theme parks, Disney’s hotels, and Disney Springs.
Certain hotels, like Disney’s Contemporary Resort and BoardWalk Inn, are within walking distance of parks like Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.
Guests can also use the Disney Skyliner to navigate the resort. This high-flying skybucket transport method travels to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, as well as several hotels, and is often regarded as one of the most efficient and fun ways to travel.
