We are smack-dab in the middle of summer, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start making your plans to spend the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. And the holiday season is one of the best times to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, as there are so many great things happening that you can’t experience any other time of year. Guests can enjoy things like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom, Jollywood Nights over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and meeting so many different versions of Santa Claus!

Over at EPCOT, the holidays come to life in so many incredible ways, and most of it is centered around the World Showcase. Each of the eleven pavilions brings the season to life in its own unique way, and the International Festival of Holidays allows guests to dine on festival food from around the world. It’s truly a season of eating and celebrating!
One of the highlights of the holiday season at EPCOT is the Candlelight Processional, which tells the story of the first Christmas. The event is narrated by different celebrities, accompanied by a talented choir.
Disney spends months preparing for this event, and has now confirmed the return of a major part of the Candlelight Processional.

Disney has confirmed that the Voices of Liberty will return as part of the show for the 2025 season, and they are currently auditioning performers to fill the eight-person choir.
According to Disney’s audition site, vocalists can audition for various parts, including Alto, Soprano, Bass, Baritone, and Tenor. Each role has a different song they are required to sing for their audition. They must then either sing the melody or the accompaniment for the appropriate song.
Online submissions will be accepted through July 14, and call-backs will take place in New York City on August 20 and Orlando on August 25. Call-back candidates must audition in person to be considered.

EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional is open to all theme park guests, but if you want a seat, it is important to get there early, as the event is incredibly popular. Many guests will line up outside the America Gardens Theatre hours before the event begins, just to ensure that they have a good seat.
Guests who do not want to risk not getting a seat can book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Details have not been released for this year’s dining packages, but a number of restaurants around the World Showcase take part in the event. Guests can dine on a delicious meal, and then get preferred seating for the holiday event.
Disney has not yet announced the dates for this year’s Candlelight Processional, but Inside the Magic will keep readers updated as more details are released.
