Jurassic World Rebirth marks a new chapter in the long-running dinosaur saga, returning the focus to the prehistoric creatures that started it all. Helmed by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s (2016) director, Gareth Edwards, and penned by original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, this installment reboots the franchise with nostalgia and blockbuster action.

Scarlett Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, who leads a high-stakes mission to recover rare dinosaur DNA from a remote island while the world reckons with the chaos of coexisting with dinosaurs. The film also stars Mahershala Ali (Duncan Kincaid), Jonathan Bailey (Dr. Henry Loomis), Rupert Friend (Martin Krebs), and Manuel García-Rulfo (Reuben Delgado).

While early reactions are mixed—with critic backlash citing weak character development but praising the intense dinosaur action—audiences seem more forgiving. Alexandre Desplat reimagines John Williams’ iconic score.

The movie follows the previous six entries: Jurassic Park (1993), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Jurassic Park III (2001), Jurassic World (2015), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), Jurassic World Dominion (2022).
