Over the last few decades, fans have gotten to watch the Disney theme park grow and evolve in exciting ways. From incredible new roller coasters and themed dark rides to new hotels and restaurants, a Disney vacation today looks a lot different from what it used to be just a few years ago.
However, a Disney vacation also costs a lot more than it used to, with price hikes affecting all facets of Disney’s theme parks. From Disneyland to Walt Disney World, guests have seen increases in the cost of tickets, food, hotels, and merchandise.
Earlier this month, Disneyland Resort raised prices on well over 1,000 food and drink items. This affected items like coffee, popcorn, pickles, and pretzels.
Now, even more price hikes have been added.

As of Tuesday, July 29, 2025, multiple restaurant items have increased in price. Trader Sam’s, Disneyland’s fan-favorite restaurant and bar, has increased the price of various items. DOLE Whip pineapple soft serve has increased from $6.50 to $7.25. The location’s snack options, like fried chicken and shrimp, have all increased by $1.
Blue Bayou Restaurant, one of Disneyland’s most popular eateries, is one of the locations affected. Food items here have increased by $1-$4. Guests can also expect higher prices at River Belle Terrace, with brunch and dinner items rising by $1-$2.
The price of all eight of Napa Rose’s specialty cocktails has increased by $1, making the cheapest option $19.
Lamplight Lounge has seen pric hikes too, affecting the Pixar Lamp and Ball Straw item and the Pixar Ball Sipper, both of which have increased by $1.
Guests should expect to pay more for special dining packages, as Fantasmic! and World of Color’s add-ons have also increased.
World of Color dining packages have risen across the board by $3-$10. Cafe Orleans Standard Dining Package was $58 for guests ages 10+ but is now $64. River Belle Terrace Standard Dining Package has increased from $58 for guests ages 10+ to $64.
Storytellers Cafe Dinner Buffet was previously $69 for guests 10+, but is now $79. The Wine Country Trattoria Dining Package was $69 for guests ages 10+ and is now $73. While this new round of price hikes affects a smaller number of items, it spreads far across Disneyland and will likely be hard to ignore for guests wanting to enjoy some of the resort’s more special dining experiences.
A similar story has unfolded at Walt Disney World over the last few years, with restaurants, snacks, and in-park items all seeing price increases too.
