While fans praise the Disney theme parks for their family-friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, and classic attractions, it’s the parks’ variety that truly sets them apart. Whether guests are visiting Magic Kingdom in Florida or Tokyo Disneyland in Japan, they can rest assured that their day will be chock-full of incredible rides and attractions to explore.

The same can be said for Disneyland Paris, which is home to both iconic Disney staples as well as some unique attractions only found at the French resort. Alongside classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and “it’s a small world,” guests will also be able to embark on their own Indiana Jones adventure on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril  as well as explore the world of Pixar’s Finding Nemo on Crush’s Coaster.

Pixar is a big deal at Disneyland Paris, with the parks also featuring numerous Toy Story experiences as well.

However, one of these experiences recently closed without warning, causing some confusion among fans.

Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is officially closed at Disneyland Paris and is now blocked behind walls. The ride was not scheduled to close, at least not according to the resort’s refurbishment calendar, making this abrupt shutdown rather perplexing.

Various Disneyland Paris news accounts shared the update online, with X user @DisneyphileLIVE capturing a photo of the current state of the ride.

Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop opened in 2010 and is located in Disneyland Paris’ Toy Story Playland area. This themed land is similar to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, also allowing guests to explore the world of arguably Pixar’s most famous film franchise.

Featuring an 82-foot drop high above the rest of Walt Disney Studios Park, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop shouldn’t be underestimated. The resort recommends guests “buckle up ” and brace themselves for a thrilling adventure as if they are part of “one big playset.”

According to online sources, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is supposed to reopen on Friday, July 25. It’s unclear what the ride’s small refurbishment will entail.
