Walt Disney World is full of unforgettable rides, magical shows, and, of course, food.
While most people daydream about Dole Whip or Mickey pretzels when they think of Disney snacks, there’s an entire menu of fan-favorite treats that go way beyond the classics. Whether it’s a creatively layered churro, a seasonal cupcake at one of the resort hotels, or a deep-fried delight at a kiosk you nearly walked past, Disney fans have no shortage of snacks to rave about.

That’s especially true when it comes to corn dogs. Over the years, this humble fairground favorite has gotten a serious glow-up at Disney. We’re talking bacon-wrapped dogs, jalapeño-laced creations, and even some wild sweet-and-savory combos that you’d never expect to work—but totally do. It’s no longer just a meal on a stick. For many fans, it’s a must on every trip.
And few places have captured that corn dog magic quite like the kiosk outside Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. It might not look like much at first glance, but what’s coming out of that tiny stand has become a viral sensation and a go-to snack stop for anyone strolling between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
So it’s safe to say some fans may be thrown for a loop to hear that Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is closing next week.

Before panic sets in—this is only a short closure. According to a recent post from @blueribboncorndogs on Instagram, the beloved BoardWalk location will shut down on Monday, July 21, 2025, for a brief refurbishment. The work is expected to last just two days, with the stand reopening on Wednesday, July 23. So if you’re headed to Disney World that week, mark your calendar accordingly.

The closure is being described as “routine maintenance,” and there are no signs that the menu will change or the structure will look any different when it returns. That’s great news for anyone hoping to grab one of their signature creations like the Crispy Cheddar Melt Dog or the Deep Fried Banana with Nutella drizzle—two items that have made a splash among foodies and Instagrammers alike.
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs has become a bit of a destination for guests in the know, especially since this is one of the only places on property offering some of the zaniest and most delicious corn dog concoctions outside of Disneyland. It’s the kind of snack stop you try once—and then can’t stop thinking about.
So while this may not be a permanent goodbye, fans who were planning a visit during those two days will definitely want to adjust their snack plans. And hey, maybe take this as your sign to explore some other underrated eats around the BoardWalk while you wait. Just don’t forget to come back after July 23 and grab your corn dog the second they start frying again.
