As legal immigrants, we had planned to visit Orlando, but then I remembered concerns about ICE targeting people of color. After reading the comments, I think it might be better not to go. I really hope America can return to normal—this situation is hurting the economy and everything else. I’m not defending illegal activities, but this has gone far beyond that. Yes, people can leave the U.S., and if the skilled legal immigrants do, America will lose its talent pool and fall behind Europe, where countries are already taking advantage of the turmoil here.
