Years ago, my daughter and I were riding the Matterhorn and we were just over the top and started coming down when the loudspeaker came on and said your ride has stopped. We will be with you momentarily. We were still zipping along after hearing that announcement two or three more times and coming down the mountain ways and we’re wondering if we were on a runaway Bob sled The car locked up and within a few moments a cast member did come to us and said we were going to have to hike off the mountain and we were probably about halfway up the mountain which this was kind of cool cause I’ve never heard of anybody hiking the mountain other than Mickey and goofy and a couple of their mountain climbers All went well. There were no problems. It was a little scary while the bobsled was moving, but other than that, it was really cool and when we got to the bottom, the first thing, I wanted to know if they had a special Disney pin for those of us who had to hike off the mountain because it’s so rarely seems to happen and that would’ve been a cool thing for a memory overall, it was fun
