I think the changes are ridiculous and things should be left alone if you are offended by the ride simply don’t ride it same goes for Pirates I see people complaining about the pirates if you’re offended again don’t ride the damn ride simple
I agree. Why go on a ride that you have a perceived idea that it’s not a good fit for you?
I’ve been going to Disney World since about 1992. Seen too many changes that I ‘m less enthused each visit. My kids, grandkids, great grandkid aren’t seeing the Disney I enjoyed and grew up with. Change will always come. But not always for the better.
We are now in the age of Karens . If they don`t like something it must change to suit them . There is a orange one who whines when he doesn`t get his way . Guess they come in both sexes ?

The woke Karens changed Splash, the woke karens changed Pirates, the woke karens tear down statues and have no sense of humor.
Disney is struggling to regain its place as THE innovation theme park. Frankly it’s losing and somewhat petty.
Universal is threatening it’s market share. It’s more adult and less cloying.

Change Sucks! I still hate TA,s ride. Bring back Splash Mountain and leave The Haunted Mansion alone. Lucky for me I will never have to see phantom [don’t] manor.

This is why when I take over Disney, I will undo every single change made out of sensitivity concerns and put my foot down saying that it’s what the purists want and what Walt would do. If the woke crowd responds by saying “Disney wants my money but they’re insensitive towards me and don’t care if they offend me? They won’t get my money again!” and starts a nationwide boycott of Disney products then I’ll know I’ve succeeded. Like Disney would go bankrupt without the woke crowd? Not a chance. They’re the vocal minority and purists who don’t get offended are the majority.
So, if out of every 100 people, 99 of them are fine with HM as is. But 1 is offended, Disney listens to the 1, and screws the other 99? That’s not a way to run a theme park! You can’t make everybody happy. You go with the majority!
