I gave up my annual pass and grandson’s in 2020. When offered back, black-out days! There weren’t black out dates prior to 2020. There is also the issue of having to get reservations. This is ridiculous. I have checked into it after hearing of issues and it’s true…. as a passholder the system shows no availability for Passholders, yet availability for day tickets & resort guests. Even though you are a resort guest, the system 1st acknowledges you as a passholder & therefore no availability for the parks. This needs to change, before I get annual pass again. Many DVC members refused to renew annual pass, more people need to refuse to get a change. Also, there are great prices for Florida residents, DVC members are paying taxes into Florida and need to be considered for the same Florida prices.

Not sure where you are getting your information from, but this simply isn’t the case. Perhaps in 2020/2021, but this is certainly not the case now. I live locally and have had no trouble getting into any of the parks, even Magic Kingdom on weekends and Memorial Day. There is a ton of availability for pass holders and no reservations are required after 2pm with some exceptions for MK. Good to go days have been available as well. Also, there were passes with blockout before 2020, both the Silver and Gold passes had blockout and prior to those, the old Seasonal Pass (FL residents only) also had blockout. I had one back from 2010-2014. Blockout is nothing new on the discounted APs, only exception is the old (pre silver/gold/plat AP program) Annual Pass. But even then, there was the seasonal pass, weekday select, theme park select, and Epcot after 4 pass. Your comment contains a lot of misinformation or is just simply way out of date.
