I think it’s sweet if it’s a very small ceremony, but there’s a reason weddings are held during non-operational park hours!

@Mayah_Raptive Also don’t you need an approved licence to get married in a park or can you get married anywhere? I’m curious

Disney is private property. If you went to another place that was private property and started having a ceremony they would have every to kick you out.
What if people walked into a church with no notice or a reception hall and just started having some sort of service without permission.

If it was truly “quickly and quietly off to the side” and did not disrupt anything or anyone, then why not? Now if you expect to have your own private location in front of whatever place you want, then it is a big NO. The Disney rules are for them to make sure they get their $$$$$$$$$……oh you wanna do something special in the parks then it will be even more $$$$$$$$$$!!!. Like anything else these days, and current generations do not understand…….if you plan on doing something even borderline against the rules or someone would not agree with then why on earth would you take video to share with the world? I am not part of the “look at me I am a big deal – or look what I got away with” social media following, I grew up doing so much crazy stuff and might have a couple of polaroids of the craziness but did not feel it was necessary to share with the world.
