Bob is only trying to make himself look good because the country finally swung to the right for a change.
Also, “tell *Marvel* to get out of politics”??? How about tell *Disney* to get out of politics. Marvel *is* Disney.

Why an IP like the X-Men? You joking right?

Trump must have really scared the daylights out of Iger for him to finally see the light. Personally I’m not ready to believe Iger has changed. He wants money. He’s only bowing the knee because most of the country turned red. If Harris had won, trust me, Iger wouldn’t dare tell Marvel to get out of politics.

How about ALL OF DISNEY get out of politics, not just marvel?

How about ALL OF HOLLYWOOD get out of politics?

He’s not trying to appease Trump. He’s making a smart business decision by not alienating half his customer base by leaning politically left or politically right.

The Snow White debacle showed that alienating conservatives is bad for business. Now Disney is course correcting in order to maximize profits for the company while creating a better overall experience for all customers.

If Disney moves far to the right, it will end up in the middle, where Disney had always been, prior to Iger’s Woke crusade over the past 10 years or so. This article said Iger may be doing this to appease Trump. How about Iger is doing this because he now sees that going Woke was a dismal business strategy and it alienated half of their formerly loyal customer base. How about get out of politics and social re-engineering altogether and return to family entertainment?

If a company wants to show life how it is, that is their prerogative to do so. Personal feeling, I like the Disney of the 50’s through 2000 and keeping to the traditional family unit and am not against the new lifestyles, but those movies can be made, for late age teenagers and adults if they desire those. Movies that “sell” typically stick to the family values, and they can be marketed to children and adults. That should be the case. As for “Marvel” I have not noticed politics in there current movies, or underlying content. But Disney movies do have that. Disney should keep to the Fantasy that Walt started, and that is what will keep all coming back to Disney!
