I don’t see why people would complain about them slowing down a part of the ride. Not everyone wants to be thrown around. The other Harry Potter ride at Universal the forbidden journey is way too much. The ride shouldn’t make people nauseous. They could slow that one way down and it would make it more enjoyable.
Apparently it was causing guests to come out of their seats. You are told that you must sit firmly in the seat and keep your feet on the floor to prevent the sensors from triggering and stopping the ride. So I am not sure how they would fix that but it will probably take a while. I got to ride it twice with the drops and no stopping so I guess I was very lucky. It is an absolutely AMAZING experience.
If it’s anything like the sudden drop in Rise of the Resistance, then I say, fix it! It was one of those moments that elevated the whole experience for me!

I’m willing to bet that this is only temporary until they can fix the issue with the ride involving this effect

Imagine that!!!!! Universal taking precautions in order to prevent downtime and people of course are still sniveling and whining!
