We went on 5/17 – save your money and time. The rides shut down – which was an issue but the real issue, the rides we did get on were terrible and BORING! (Ministry of Magic and Monsters Unchained). The lands were nice but the portals were underwhelming). Save your money for now and don’t bother.
Exactly! Being one of the first to adopt the newest “thing” or go to the newest “place” are always the most expensive, usually busiest, most underwhelming, and most buggy ways to experience something. It’s never worth it to be one of the first just for the sake of saying you were one of the first, and this is another perfect case in point.
I went when families of TM could go and half of the rides were down (it was free so no complaints on our end). Two members of my family can’t get enough of Epic even with rides not running. The other 3 were so glad we didn’t waste our money even if all the rides were up and running. We’ll stick with the original Universal Orlando and not waste money at Epic anytime soon.
What do you all expect these a dry runs!! New parks always have things that need to be tweaked. You should have waited a little while instead of having to one of the first in just to say you were the kiss and moan about it!!

We’ve been waiting on Battle at Ministry for almost 2 hours. It’s been broken down down for about 45 minutes while we were in the queue.

I was there opening day of the Studio park. Nothing worked so they gave us comp tickets Pepsi to drink and tee shirts.

I always wait at least a year before going to new parks for this very reason. That’s about how long to get the kinks out.
