Disney continues to raise its prices and reduce once included perks. Not a surprise! They have priced themselves out of reach to all but the wealthiest guests. Universal Studios is going to have a major impact on Disney’s bottom line. Somewhere along the way Walt Disneys vision of a place where every family can go to enjoy time together has been lost. Sad really. The greed has taken control.
So, my family has been going to Disney since I was a little girl….. literally since the week they opened. It was never “free”, but the prices were definitely more realistic. We all had resident annual passes from the time they started as well. But now, none of us go any more, and we haven’t since 2020. Disney lost its magic….and mind.
I’m far from wealthy and I’m going this year. If you can’t afford an extra fee bucks for next year’s prices, maybe you don’t need to take a vacation at all.
Wooah wooah how dare you bring logic into the conversation. Everyone is entitled to the same thing everyone else has regardless how hard they worked for it.
Why spend all this money on plastic, fake amusement parks? Go see natural wonders, like the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, or take a train across country. Plenty to do that is really worth the money and time and won’t support screwed up Hollywood.
Have you bern to these parks lately?
Unless you have an r.v. or tent… most try to stay in a hotel.
Which is now run by some Chinese company. And the prices are astronimical..
so much for the American People yo enjoy…
Haha aren’t you clever…let me guess, you are a failed fry cook trying to make his way in the world as a part time grocery store bag man who is angry at the world because you are lazy and never achieved anything other than a participation trophy for graduating kindergarten. Got it.
Not only prices going up BUT RESIDENTS are not appreciated gor our LOYALITY. Example, Animal Kingdom will offer 2 additional hours to enjoy the cool darkness of the park BUT only to guests in resorts. So Residents will still be unable to enjoy the tree of life show, walking thru Pandora of that great ride to visit Yedi in darkness.
Personally, I think Universal got the better deal in the Al Michaels/Oswald Rabbit trade. Disney is in a downward spiral. Good thing Bobby I. is at the helm to save the company. Oh wait, he’s been in charge for how long?

You are right capndumass, back when Disney was Free to get into it was a much happier place for all! Man I miss those days.

Soon it will be piece-mealed at bankruptcy auction…. it’s the only way to save it… mark my words…

Have you all looked at the price of tickets for Universal? They’re not exactly cheap.
