Bob Iger owns this disaster. Iger ushered in the Woke policies that alienated so many loyal fans, he oversaw the DEI hiring that put unqualified people in key creative roles, he failed to stop the production of this movie with its animated dwarfs, rather than hiring real little people, Iger oversaw a script rewrite that provided for the boss girl hogwash, Iger let Zegler run wild in her press conferences, Iger went ahead with the release of this film in spite of its pre-release trailers receiving the lowest ratings in movie history. But the Disney Board still likes Bob Iger and refuses to renounce Disney’s error in letting politics enter their entertainment space and refuses to declare their Woke advocacy a mistake. Thus the death spiral continues.

SOOOOOOO many excellent comments here about the demise of Disney. I have not been to the parks since 2017 (used to go 2-3 tmes a year for week+ at a time) and will not return unless there is a complete about face. Iger is the evil emperor and the board is completely elitist and absolutely SUCKS. HI have written to each one multiple times personally (yes you CAN find their home addresses). They have presided over the absolute destruction of Disney IP, legacy, destruction of and future destruction of beloved attractions and the infiltration of whack jobs at every level and the politicization of the entire company. THEY ALL SUCK. Stock has gone from a high of just over $200.00 a share to the DISMAL performance over MANY of the last years. I thought the end of the Eisner era was bad – those are the GLORY DAYS compared to this moronic path! I just cannot spew enough venom a this Board, management, and wokeified minions. This is what happens when you put people with no committment to the Disney legacy – but rather bean counters. I am coming to the conclusion that Bob Iger is actually working working to devalue the company to make it ripe for a takeover. I continue to ponder how a law suit against this “team” could be mustered charging them with economic sabatoge.

You would think they would have learned by now. I, like you am finished with Disney. Evidently they don’t need my money. At least I haven’t seen Universal go completely stupid yet. Maybe they learn the lessons of Bud Lite.

      2. Anthony

Could not agree more with you! This company and its leader are mirroring too closely what’s happening with the country and the orange baby. Lots of bad decisions, pulling the company / country down. Iger absolutely refuses to address many things, including Tomorrowland at Disneyland. It’s a joke. He just doesn’t care!

They need to can the Board Members who are sponsoring this swill. And Cinderella and Magnificent did well. No crap in them.

  3. Bp

also the CGI dwarves are VERY Creepy

  4. John Leatherby

Alright, this has got to stop. I’m sick and tired of all the negative talk I’ve been seeing on here. I took my girlfriend to the movie and we found it entertainingly enjoyable. We kept an open mind about it. If none of you can learn to keep an open mind on things, and keep spreading nasty negative lies, then you all of you don’t deserve to be disney fans.

    1. Anne

      Go away, John.

      1. Cynthia Mercer

This is for now, a free country, he is entilted to his opinion..

        1. So are we.

    2. Jess

Its obvious Leatherby up there is a disgusting leftist otherwise he wouldn’t be claiming the negativity was a pack of lies. He must stick pins in a Trump voodoo doll like Zegler must. Also Leatherby there’s a lot of normal people proud to not be modern Disney fans.

So in your mind no one deserves to give their opinion unless it’s a positive one. LMAO. It’s called freedom of speech. If they didn’t like the movie then they didn’t like it. If they just saw the trailers and heard Zeglers comments and didn’t like it that’s on Disney and the people have a right to their opinion. Just because you and your girlfriend found it enjoyable doesn’t mean others should.
It was a train wreck from the beginning especially with zegler and her comments to creepy CGI dwarves. For a company that’s supposed to be diverse and full of dei they should’ve hired people from the little people community.

      1. Walt

Of course fascists and woke socialists (but I repeat myself) don’t believe in free speech.

    4. RickTR

      Sez you

    5. Walt

Did you have ear plugs and blindfolds on? You can whimper about the naughty comments here on this board – – – LOOK AT THE BOX OFFICE RETURNS!!!!!

    6. Sergio Sandoval

You sound triggered Johnny boy! My wife and I went to see it and both of us thought it was garbage! Foe one thing, making it a musical with songs added to scenes that should’ve ended up on the floor of the editing room, definitely took away from the original movie! And Dopey, sporting hair and talking! Ridiculous!

    7. T

What movie were you watching? This movie sucked hard.

    8. AK

I agree with John. I saw Snow White on opening weekend and enjoyed it very much. The CGI Dopey was Charming, Rachel had a fantastic singing voice and I very much like the way Snow White was portrayed. I thought the film was excellent!

  5. Frank

The Disney Board should A: Beg John Lassatar to return and appoint him CEO, and B: Resign immediately after his hiring. This mess all could have been avoided if Disney had read the tea leaves about their overt DEI failures and simply gone back to making wholesome family entertainment. As for Snow “White”, I don’t have to view the movie to know what an absolute train wreck it is.

  6. Anne

You’re dumb if you think you have to watch the whole movie to review it. I knew it was trash months ago, I know what Zegler the narcissist said, the dwarves are fake and ugly and I know Disney made left wing girlboss crap out of it. I didn’t have to watch it to find all that out and I never will watch it. Nor will will I fuel the fire for more remakes by watching Lilo and Stitch.

    1. Jess

      Exactly

  7. Jess

I give this movie a -10 and I didn’t even watch it, lol!

  8. Paula

I have talked to friends that have taken their kids to see it. Several of them walked out halfway through. They said that Ziegler’s acting is awful (the only thing she has going for her apparently is the singing), the dwarves are creepy and there are more than 7, and the entire storyline has changed so it’s not really Snow White. Maybe they should have made it into a different movie or Snow White’s daughter or something. If I think about Snow White, I don’t think about a princess that doesn’t need her prince and I don’t even like love stories. It’s just all wrong. Tangled may be ok as a live action as long as they don’t make Repunzel into an Asian trans man being saved by his nonbinary, gender fluid, pansexual xe/xim or whatever all the buzzwords are.
Plus, Flynn Rider is a very attractive animated character so he would have to be played by someone good looking that has a charming personality. I’m not sure who yet, but I’m sure I could think of some of the perfect ones to play him. Ones that are actually men.

    1. T

      I so agree.

  9. Steven Hansen

The major problem with the film and reviews is that Zegler is a left-wing nut case who can’t act. She’s this generation’s Whoopie Goldberg.

  10. David Foust

DEIsney doesn’t learn and will keep pushing their agendas down our throats over telling good stories people want to watch. Take a note from How to train your dragon. It looks amazing and doing almost shot for shot live action because people loved the story and characters. Watch how well it does when the actors aren’t bashing the original.

  11. S.C.D.C.W.

The movie has a disastrous outcome because of various reasonable aspects, Rachel Zegler’s numerous comments amongst them. To make excuses as to why it should really have better ratings won’t help the company, nor the reality of this failure. Disney should make a better and greater live action the way they did Cinderella and Jungle Book- and hence a bombing comeback- rather than pause and consider future projects. Make a true Hercules live-action, and you will see much more favourable results!

  12. Pat

Disney board and leadership has not yet learned their lesson that Americans are totally fed up with DEI that promotes active discrimination against white people, I am and will not patronize any Disney product that promotes illegal discrimination

  13. Truth

As long as they cast Tangled the way it should be cast, they wouldn’t have to worry about another bomb.

  14. Christine Patton

I saw the movie. It was bad. To take a classic and rewrite it so far removed from the original was a bad decision.

  15. Memawh

I did not go off the internet about this film. I also did not give it a rating, maybe I should of, but after seeing the promo for it I did not want to see it. Reason for me is because to me the CGI was so bad I figured that the whole movie was not worth my time. It just was not the way the Dwarf’s looked the animals CGI was in my opinion awful. Movies are expensive and I do not have the money to waist on them if the promo looks bad.

  16. Cynthia Mercer

My special needs kids loved it, woke or not, its entertaining and there are too many Maga conservatives in this comment section.

    1. John Wayne

No offense and I’m glad you’re special needs kids liked the movie but I’m sure they don’t know the original story and this movie is so woke and so NOT like the original story people hate it. I tried to like it and walked out in less than 15 minutes because I know what the original story was. This is a bad movie and the acting was horrible. Ms. Ziegler should be working in McDonalds not acting in a movie! If you can’t get with the maga program get used to it. The Democratic party hid that they had a senile old man in the White House with a socialist ex president pulling the puppet strings for four years in an attempt by the socialist ex president to as he said “fundamentally change America”. We know that now and it will be a long time before another Democrat sits in that chair!

    2. Sergio Sandoval

Wow, Special Needs and Maga in the same comment! You win!🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣

    3. T

Really you have to bring that in. And the kids probably did not even know what they were watching. If you dont like Trump leave America no one keeping you here.

  17. The movie would have done better if it had kept to the original
story line and cast ACTUAL little people, the Prince and cast an actual Snow White person as the lead and not make her an ardent feminist (which didn’t exist in the 17th, 18th century.

  18. Becky

I saw the Movie and LOVED IT. The Dwarfs were so creative.
I hate when some make decisions without viewing. Going off bad press.. Make your own decision after seeing the film

  19. Paul W

I go to movies for movies, and make it s point to not read anything on social media about them until I’ve actually seen the film. I’ll watch the trailers once in a while, but thats the extent of it. So when I watched the movie, I knew nothing about the type of person Rachel was, the political comments she made, the issues about the dwarves or the story line changes. And you know what? I enjoyed the film just fine. I knew it would never win any awards, but I loved most of the music and the story I felt was light and fun. There was no problem for me following the plot, though the acting was not the best, but thats been the pattern in most of the remakes anyway. I wouldn’t go out of my way to see the film again, but I’d have no problem watching with someone else who had never seen it, or keeping it on as background. If I had to rate it, I’d give the film maybe 6.5 out of 10.

  20. Wendy

Walt Disney created a masterpiece with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. It was a classic. It won awards. Remaking it was one thing, recreating it, changing it from one thing to something else, that was wrong. Allowing the star to talk disparaging about it was a huge mistake. And not recognizing little people in this live action remake was another mistake. Putting a woke agenda on a classic, that took away the story’s origins. Rating 4/10.

  21. Melissa

I saw the movie with my son and we really liked it a LOT! I’m not sure why there are such negative reviews; it was a really cute, sweet KIDS movie.

  22. JM

The movie was bad. Snow White wasn’t believable. “Skin as white as snow” it was not. And the dwarfs were just creepy looking…probably gave little ones nightmares! Disney has to learn to stick to the original animated movie ideas. That was a winner. This version was definitely not.
