I will definitely be getting involved in this! The chance to help Disney Theme Parks and Josh D’Amaro embark on something new, ahh…Yes, please!
This will help make up for not putting in the “Play” Pavilion! Disney needs to step up it’s game to compete for the tourist in Central Fl, that is simple to see. Get people involved, make them part of the process and it will yield results! Josh, as far as I am concerned, should be the next C.E.O. He has been able to run the Parks with the guest experience in mind, that unfortunately, has been lost throughout the Disney Company and needs to return.
Bring Disney, at least WDW, back to the guests…it’s a simple idea but one that will take vision and planning, so thank you for at least trying with this new effort.
I think this is incredibly misleading in my opinion! I’m not saying that it’s a bad idea but calling this new offering/experience/opportunity a “world” is a bit confusing. I guess when I think of a “world”with regards to Disney, I’m imagining a themed land that I can physically move through where the World of Imagination appears to only exist in the digital realm. Correct me if I’m wrong, but it also appears that this is only marketed towards international guests? I’m wondering if that is a new target audience for them? I’d be curious to see one of the emails that went out and what it looks like!
Disney cannot keep up with what they have. Having been in December, there was chipped painted at attractions, splintered wood on the boardwalks, yet they continue to build. Take care of what you have! The Magic is slowly going! Universal is giving the customers what they want!
Yet ANOTHER price increase for customers!! When will people who LOVE Disney stop going to the parks realize that if they do not go, then Disney will lower prices! They keep building, etc, keep passing the buck to customers! There should be a boycott for a day to say enough is enough! Only the rich can afford Disney!
Disney has completely lost its focus, trying to be Universal. They are not and should go back to what they are: a magical theme park. Stop panicking. You are grasping for anything to compete with someone you don’t need to compete with. Concentrate on maintaining what you have now. People go to Disney because it is not the theater show Universal is. It is Disney. Not everything needs to be a thrill ride. People can be just as impressed with magic if it is presented as such. That has been what has made Disney a succes. Clean and well maintained wins every time. Universal is hot, noisy, and filthy. While Disney welcomes guests, Universal welcomes guests money. And that’s all.
Disney welcomes guests? Which ones? The ones with deep pockets? The able bodied ones? The ones smoking weed all over disney property? The ones vaping all around the parks? Please, do tell…I’m very curious
I beg to differ. I’ve been going to WDW since it opened. They have DEFINITELY lost their way. Certainly since COVID – they’ve been understaffed. The parks are FILTHY. The Castmembers are disinterested (at best) and thats when they’re not standing around trash talking guests and Disney.
Universal, on the other hand, has far surpassed Disney in the quality of both guest service and guest experience. Their cast members are far nicer and the parks are far cleaner. It’s going to be a sad awakening for Disney when Epic Universe opens. They’ll no longer be able to just take their guests for granted.
How about if you don’t like Disney, or can’t afford Disney, you stop going. I am looking forward to the changes that are coming up. Frontierland was more for the grandparents than for everyone else. The kids are the ones that drive the business by bugging the parents to take them. The kids like Cars and Monsters, Inc. or even the young adults would prefer those over Frontierland. The only part of that worth keeping is Big Thunder Mountain. If you prefer Universal, go to Universal. I plan on going to both. I am going to wait for a while before I attempt Epic Universe though since it’s going to be packed out for probably the first year. As it is now, you can’t book anything more than a 1 day ticket and residents have a lot of blackout dates. Which is good, that way more people can go experience it before everything breaks down.
There is no Cars or Monsters Inc coming, ever. It’s a hoax. If I don’t like what Disney does I take it over and make it great again. Kids need to be told what they can and can’t like. I say they want Frontierland and the Wild West so that’s what they will get. Disney is not for kids and never will be. I’ll be enjoying the Rivers of America when Disney World turns 75 and Pixar is gone after the Disney company has been broken up.

They are grasping, it took them the same amount of time to build Tron, a copy of an existing ride, as it did Universal to build a whole park!

Just a website? Disappointing. I waa expecting a new attraction or land.

And the rides are down so often! It’s disappointing. They need to work on some upkeep for sure!

Will they be posting negative experiences? Probably not.
