Good Morning (we can still be civil), I just knew I’d find a crazy rant from you here. Just curious who is this army of “we” that you’re going to go to war with? You know that means doing more than cutting and pasting the same line over and over and over again right. You might have to leave your house!
How so? Just interested in your battleplan. Not for nothing but I’m a Disney fan and I won’t be going to war with them. Sure they do some boneheaded stuff sometimes but that’s just my opinion, others may disagree, that’s life, it’s not worth getting all emotional about.
Why stay anonymous? We love Disney & certainly won’t be going to war. They can’t do anything worse than when they put in the reservation system & Disney survived that war!
If non-handicapped people would quit abusing and/or selling their access, Disney would be more handicap friendly (although compared toto many other places, Disney overs great service for handicapped people-and before you start protesting, my husband has been a 100% disabled veteran since 1981-we’ve used it hundreds of times)
Have you used it lately? My dad is also 100% service connected disabled verteran and i have been disabled since i was 18. They are turning down those with physical disabilites to get a das pass. A real disability pass is suppose to be for anyone who is disabled and needs it. I believe that is what Sara is refering to. There other options dont work for everyone. Nor are all their lines handicap accessiable like they say they are.
You are right about people abusing it, but it people who are disabled who are paying the price for it. My boyfriend has one leg and couldnt get a das pass with his other issues he falk under their gudliness to get one but was still denyed. I heard from alot of people that qualifed they were denied.
Disney should bring back the free Magical Express. It would be a deciding factor for the convenience of getting their luggage and themselves to the hotel and on to the parks sooner. I have not returned to Disney World since the pandemic. I have however been to Universal since the pandemic and the experience was better than the last visit to Disney World.

Maybe Disney should stop discriminating against the disabled community if they want to remain the top Florida destination.
