There seems to be more issues with people in the parks since they decided to allow alcohol consumption other than having with dinner. Also people pay no attention to the carts. They step in front thinking they are faster than the cart, the kids are oblivious doing the same. Just because it’s a fun time on vacation doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be careful, aware and courteous of others. Carts can NOT stop quickly.
There are a list of rules on the contract you sign when renting an ECV aren’t there? Anything there about consuming alcohol? Maybe that needs to be added to the contract with the outcome being immediate loss of the ECV with no refund (including deposit). If it is their personal scooter then remove it from the Park.
With the increase in the availability of alcohol the parks at times are no longer as enjoyable. There are many instances of disorderly conduct due to the amount consumed. Visible on the YouTube videos.
Disney adds to the problem with encouraging the excess alcohol for financial gain. Perhaps limiting alcohol by making the person buying to be the one to consume and using a system off your ticked in order to buy it. It’s sad that there are those who can’t control themselves and force regulation on others.
As for ACVs there are several issues. Iam a user of ACVs in the last 2 years. There are those that bring their own and those that use third party companies as well as on-site third party rentals. First give people riding a bit of space. It’s a mess trying to get around with crowds and constantly being cut off. Secondly for scooter users you can and will be stopped if you drive one DUI. You can and will be arrested.just need to think before you mix the two.
