One of the most amazing things about visiting Walt Disney World Resort is the sheer number of choices available to guests. The massive resort has more than two dozen hotels and more than four hundred dining locations.
While that can be overwhelming for those who have not visited The Most Magical Place on Earth, it also makes it easier for guests to find a great place to stay within their budget, as well as places to eat that meet almost every taste and dietary restriction.

Disney World offers everything from Mexican to French, American classics, upscale steakhouse, Japanese, and more. And the resort is full of more than just sit-down locations, there are also counter-service and snack locations, so there is something for every food budget.
Walt Disney was a big proponent of change, and famously said that Disneyland would never be complete as long as there was imagination left in the world. The same can be said for Walt Disney World, even though Walt died 5 years before it opened.
And while change can be a good thing, guests usually like to know that it is coming and not be surprised during their trip.

As we said earlier, there are more than two dozen hotels to stay at on Walt Disney World Resort property. However, not all of them are actually owned by Disney. Two of the most popular hotels that are not owned by Disney are the Sean and Dolphin Resorts, which are located within walking distance of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and the BoardWalk.
On March 21, guests staying at the Dolphin Hotel were stunned to see that the quick-service Picabu restaurant had suddenly closed. The closure was so sudden that the Walt Disney World Resort website still doesn’t say that the closure is permanent.

While the closure was sudden, we do know what will become of the space, and some guests might be quite excited to learn about the upcoming transformation.
According to the Swan and Dolphin website, Picabu will be turned into Lagoon Games, Lanes, and Eats. Here is more on the new space.
