OK - well I will give this a 3 out of 10 for effort on Disney’s part. It’s actually nice to see a “perk” come back, albeit “limited” and in a testing phase. We use Southwest, so this would actually work for us, however, we don’t stay at Value resorts very often - so maybe Disney should have targeted more resorts on it’s opening texting phase.

It’s just funny to see that what we once called “normal” for Disney is now considered a “perk”. Someone better get the memo that guests are not happy with things being taken away - things that made going to Disney a truly unique experience.

It used to be a seamless vacation from start to finish - you never had to worry about baggage or transportation. For a family, this was priceless and a huge incentive to pick Disney over…hum, let’s say Universal.

Disney Resort and Parks would be wise to find it’s roots. Guests are what drive revenue, and it’s pretty obvious by attendance numbers, guest are not happy.

This perk was the best offered. Checking bags at Orlando airport can be a nightmare.. Hooray for Disney bringing this back, however having to check bags the night before for flights before 1:00 pm will be tricky……..

Yep the very best perk. Baggage check at MCO can be a nightmare with the arrival of all the cruise ships. Hoping this quickly expands to Delta and all resorts. Would love to have it back on DCL as well.

I’d welcome this service coming back to the Disney resorts. It was invaluable to us for each trip. I know we would use this each time!!

This along with the return of Magical Express would be amazing! That’s the only reason we liked to fly in. Otherwise we would just make a 13 hour drive and listen to Disney music the whole trip and make it magical ourselves.

Only one airline right now, and only bags, not the actual transportation, id rather have more extra magic hours

Best idea since sliced bread. About time, with the cost of going to the Magic place on earth this is WELCOME.

The return of the original Magical Express service would be nothing short of magical. I’m sure guests would even be willing to pay a small amount for the convenience of having your bags picked up at the airport (and delivered to your room) and dropped off at the airport on the return trip (the original service). This service was originally free, but is definitely worth an extra fee. Let’s hope it is expanded to include all resorts.

I agree, Nick. Restart the “airport to Disney room” luggage service and Resort to Airport. Both, I would be willing to pay for that service! The magicial express luggage service was and would be MAGICAL!

Please give back the baggage check and the Magical Express!!! We travel with a daughter in a wheelchair that can’t, help herself, she is 100 perfect depended on us and moving her all our luggage and her medical equipment is hard on us. It use to be so easy with these services. Now we don’t have the services and we are 70 and she is bigger, and deserves to be able to go to disney!!! What a Hugh difference this would make!!

I agree with the majority of the responders. My wife and I are seniors and after our last trip to WDW we vowed not to return unless the Magical Express was restored ( plus the baggage service). A step in the right direction at least!

As a longtime WDW visitor [more than 50] and DVC member, I was very disappointed when Magical Express was cancelled, I’m sure WDW can afford to pick us up, and besides, after a long flight you really want to feel like your vacation starts as soon as you touch down.

My very first Magical Express ride was truly magical. I truly felt my trip to Disney World was special. For us, traveling by plane for more than 9 hours and looking at the cost of transportation to the resorts we found that we could rent a car for the nearly the same price it would cost for round trip transportation for 2 people and having to eat at Disney properties. Now we rent a car and our money is spent off resort properties for dining and shopping. Bring back the free services of luggage handling and the Magical Express and restore the magic that once was special about Disney.

I will be cautiously optimistic for the return of baggage check for deluxe resorts/villas (since that is where we stay) and for it to include additional airlines as well. I am also hopeful for the return of Magical Express even if they charge for it – at least offer it to people and give them that choice.
