On Thursday, The Walt Disney Company shocked fans with yet another announcement about its mischievous Villains.
The news comes just one day after Walt Disney World Resort revealed the grand opening date for the all-new Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show coming to the Sunset Showcase at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Walt Disney Imagineering first teased the show last year but announced on Wednesday that it would begin delighting and terrifying Central Florida Disney Park guests on May 27, 2025.

And that’s just the beginning of the Disney Villains takeover at Walt Disney World Resort. At D23 Expo 2024, Chairman of Disney Experience Josh D’Amaro confirmed that Walt Disney Imagineers were officially working on a previous “blue sky” concept for a Disney Villains land at Magic Kingdom Park. The new land will see all-new attractions, shops, and dining locations inspired by the Disney characters we love to hate.

Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t confirmed an opening date for the Disney Villains land, which will take over unused space “beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad” and vastly expand Magic Kingdom Park’s footprint. But if you can’t wait to welcome the Disney Villains into your life, we have some exciting news for you!
During the Nintendo Direct on Thursday, March 27, The Walt Disney Company surprised fans with a trailer for “Disney Villains Cursed Café,” an all-new video game available on Xbox, Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. The best part? It’s already available for purchase!
“Once upon a time there was a café just like any other…until one day, a new potion master arrived,” the trailer teased. “With a single spell uttered the café transformed. Some of the most powerful villains have gathered in search of potions. The rest of this story is up to you, Potion-ista!”
Players act as “Potion-ista,” serving up mischievous concoctions to familiar Disney Villains, including Ursula, Jafar, Cruella de Vil, Gaston, Maleficent, Captain Hook, and The Evil Queen. Yzma helps players discover rare upgraded ingredients to create enhanced elixirs.

Players can influence each Disney Villain’s ambitions and destiny by crafting magical potions with a brewing machine. Each Disney Villain comes to the café with a request, but the player’s ingredient choices can change their stories forever.
The café is decorated with Easter eggs for Disney Villains fans, including the Magic Mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Flotsam and Jetsam from The Little Mermaid (1989). Each Disney Villain debuts a distinct outfit inspired by their original attire.

“Disney Villains Cursed Café” is now available for digital download on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Steam. The game costs $14.99.
