A fairly recent addition to the Universal Orlando Resort has closed.

Theme park fans are used to change, with new rides, attractions, and developments always on the horizon. This rings especially true for the Universal Orlando Resort, which recently closed and sealed off a small entertainment area.
As confirmed by Kevin Heimbach on Twitter, the small arcade located inside Men In Black: Alien Attack‘s gift shop has closed. Not only is the arcade now offline but the location has since been sealed off entirely.
It’s unclear why Universal decided to shut down the arcade, though according to Heimbach, this change is most likely permanent.
Men In Black Arcade Inside The Gift Shop Has Been Sealed Off. Sounds Like They Are Using The Space To Expand Backstage Areas. It Has Also Been Textured Which Means This Wall Is Permanent.

The arcade first opened in December 2022, as Inside Universal originally reported, offering guests a chance to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the hecticness of the actual theme park. Arcades are nothing new for theme parks, although both Universal and Disney have been scaling back on them in recent years.
One of Disney’s most prominent arcades could at one point be found in the gift shop for Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom. This location, named “Starcade,” had been in operation since 1977 but ceased operations as an arcade in the late 2010s.
This location has undergone significant changes, now serving as the exit area for both Space Mountain and the park’s newest roller coaster, TRON Lightcycle / Run.
