I am very excited to see this movie! I remember seeing the original on screen at a movie theater. I have always loved this movie and it has held a special
Place in my heart. I find the dwarf characters delightful and funny. It is a heartwarming film. I’ve been sad about all the controversy delaying the release. Done of it just nonsense. I love the score and the photography looks beautiful. I was thrilled they are using “real little people”. I am hoping it is a huge success and out earns the cost by far!
Still have no interest in seeing this film. The only movie from Disney right now is Avatar: Fire and Ash and that’s because I trust James Cameron to deliver an awesome movie. Inside Out was their only really good movie so far and I wager that was thanks to it being a Pixar one. So that gives me hope for Elio at least.
Oh and I agree they should have had little people fill the role of the dwarfs instead of using cgi, and exactly for the reasons that guy said. What were they thinking not doing that, Peter Jackson do it in the LOTR and the Hobbit and that was one of my favorite things about those movies. I swear there are idiots working at Disney. I really hope the financial loss of this film teaches them a lesson.
There is no reason to NOT hire ‘Little People or Dwarfs’ for this beloved fairly tale. The only sensible Chanel would have the dwarfs living in a small village instead of a cave. STOP CHANGING the main Character from White, in Snow White just explain the reason for her name such as: born out side in a snow storm as mother couldn’t make it to the hospital therefore the baby was white as snow. Racial diversity could be shown within the seven dwarfs. Simple changes that make sense without completely rewriting it into a non recognizable movie.
They couldn’t pay me to watch it. And I love Disney, but this has gone to far. I did not watch the live action Little Mermaid either. Walt Disney was one to keep his characters “On Model”. These are definitely NOT on model.
I haven’t had many (if any) issues with Disney’s films (Including the Halle Berry Mermaid). But THIS…whatever it is (definitely NOT a Disney movie), shouldn’t even exist.
When you try to be liked by everyone, you usually end up being liked by no one. Disney had a an established fan base for this film and they aliented it. Now they’ve made a half-hearted attempt to win them back with out addressing the most serious problem: the miscasting of the lead. If i ever see it, it will only out of curiosity.
Comments for One Month Before Release, Actors for Live-Action ‘Snow White’ “Dwarfs” Seemingly Revealed

“Dwarves” my foot, those are seven CGI nightmares. I hate this movie so freaking much. I hope it flops harder than the Little Black Girlboss Mermaid.

Don’t get too excited. They changed the storyline. I wouldn’t pay a penny to see it
JJ
Ann, how much did Disney pay you to say such nonsense?

Pass. They should have put a muzzle on the actress. She ruined it!
