Guests themselves can speed up the screening process by doing the following:

Pay attention to cast members directing guests through the process. Often, people blindly choose a screening lane without looking for shorter/open lanes.

Be ready for inspection by opening ALL compartments of your bags, don’t just plunk your bags down on the table expecting the screener to open all of the zippers; remove all bags, blankets, and clothing from your stroller.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: EMPTY YOUR POCKETS! The number one cause of slowing the screening process is cell phones carried through the scanner! Put it on the table or in the bowl.

If everyone followed these simple steps, screening time could be cut in half!

Use the Toy Story parking on Harbor. Unless the process there has very recently changed, there’s a separate security inspection there that usually takes less time to go through. And you DON’T have to repeat it once you get off the shuttle bus outside the Esplanade.
