As the United States Disney parks wrestle with operating under President Donald Trump’s anti-diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies and potential tariffs, Disneyland Paris Resort is expanding its horizons to Ireland.

Disneyland Paris Resort recently posted an audition for character and parade performers in Dublin, Ireland. On February 10, 2025, Disney Auditions will welcome female, male, and nonbinary performers “willing and able to demonstrate high energy level, a full range of motions with their bodies, and good coordination.” You must be 18 or older to audition.

“An added Parade Performer level to Character roles, requires solid dance and/or acting skills through significant training and/or stage experiences,” the open call reads. Disneyland Paris Resort will help non-EU residents process Visa applications to work in France for short-term or open-ended contracts.

Why Should You Audition?

Former Disneyland Paris Resort entertainment cast member Iris (@irisruddy) recently shared the news about the audition with her Irish followers, encouraging them to audition in Dublin. “Here are three reasons why I think you should audition,” she began.

“Your commute to work is literally walking past the castle and all the Disney music playing,” the former Disney cast member said. “It actually is just so magical, and no matter how awful I felt that day, [I] always kind of had a little ‘pinch me’ moment.”

“Probably the main reason is you get to do what you love every single day,” she continued. “You get to dance down the parade route on Main Street, and if you get to spend time with some of the characters, you’re making families happy.”

Finally, Iris said her coworkers were one of the most magical parts of performing at Disneyland Paris Resort.

“You get to spend time with your besties every single day,” she concluded. “…We honestly used to go on rides after work or during our breaks or go for coffee…I had the best year ever.”

How to Audition for Disneyland Paris Resort

Hopeful Disney character performers should create a profile on www.disneyauditions.com. To expedite the process, performers can check in online the day before the audition by clicking “Check In” on the Disney Auditions website and selecting “Disneyland Paris – Character & Parade Audition – DUBLIN (Ireland) – Feb 2025.”

Users must take a selfie to confirm their identity. If you cannot check-in online, plan to arrive early on the morning of the audition.

A Disneyland Paris Resort representative will welcome performers at Liffey Trust Studios in North Dock, Dublin, between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. Wear comfortable clothing and plan to stay as late as 6:00 p.m., depending on callbacks. Disneyland Paris Resort doesn’t require performers to prepare material before their auditions. Anyone not auditioning will be required to wait outside.
