Living in the Northwest, I travel to Portland, Oregon at least once a week. I’ve never heard of the Portland Pickles…before this article. Then again, I’ve never heard of a TRUE Northwesterner taking such offence at having their “purely coincidental” group seen by millions…er, thousands (Disney keeps losing people).

The Northwest is known for di[word censored by multi-convicted]sity. We have various “walks of life” — all being treated as HUMAN. If anything, Disney removing the specific episode of Pixar’s show would be what sparks the lawsuit. I suppose Portland is succumbing to politics & any greed of money/power they can obtain. At least that hasn’t happened in the area _I_ live. Not yet, anyway.

ItM removed my comment? All I did was state that I live in the Northwest and Portland suing is unheard of by the people who were born and/or raised here.

Okay. It seems as though something in my paragraph about where I live is the issue.

I’ll try using keywords that it could be. I’ll start with “Portland” (I don’t live in Portland; but I travel there at least once a week).

Okay. So “Portland” is a safe word. So is “Northwest”. How about “Oregon”?

That means the word they have difficulty with is [cucumber marinated in a dill brine]. I have not heard of that team before.

Northwesters believe in human. The Northwest is filled with various “walks of life” — all treated with respect.

(Hopefully, that sentence isn’t a problem)

So, I don’t understand how the Portland sports team would think about suing over the “purely coincidental” likeness of a group. Especially since the team in Pixar’s show is placed in a GOOD light.

Besides, this will be seen by MILLIONS…er, thousands (Disney keeps losing people with each poor decision they make).

And now my original comment is back. I don’t know what ItM is up to, anymore.
