Florida, they took Florida away from us. It used to be beautiful. Now we have a .ess where there should be a swamp.

  2. We keep seeing “the free things they took away” Those free things were not free. They were included in the price of you ticket and resort hotel cost. Travel to and from the airport, Fastpass, late hours, free parking etc… were structured into the price. Food was plentiful and reasonably priced at $1 to $5 more than you could get outside the park. With all the added costs I see that Iger and Damato keep getting plenty in raises each year.

I wish they would bring back Package Pick-up and Resort Package Delivery.

      I agree!
That was a nice thing to have so you could enjoy your day in the parks. Did not know that was not available now.

I totally agree Walt Disney World has become too expensive. Guests now get much less for their spent dollars. My husband and are senior citizens, and can’t spend the whole day in the parks, like we used to do. Now we are lucky if we can manage 4 or 5 hours in one park. When we could use the free disability pass, we could enjoy three attractions before leaving the park. Now we don’t want to even try to go on any attractions, because we do not have the stamina to stand in long lines. We don’t think buying a Fass Pass is worth the expense. We feel like our age group is being forgotten. Only the young and wealthy are welcomed.

Not only that, but very long relaxing dark rides like Universe of Energy & Horizons have been replaced with sickening 3 min roller coasters, motion simulators rides, & worse of all, Mission: Space. Young people today would hate both past educational NY world’s fairs.

Das- federal and va consider me disabled. Disney doesn’t- they want me to pay for the accommodation I need to make it through a day with my family. I think there may be a class action lawsuit, but seriously no end to the greed.

Disney has gotten WAY overpriced! We used to go evert year with our daughters. Thankfully we joined DVC 10 years ago. Had we not, we would not be able to afford to go. My husband and I recently did a long weekend using our points to attend our daughter’s National High School Cheer Competition. Had we not had points, we probably wouldn’t have been able to attend. We never stepped foot in a park and had a good time, even though food was still very expensive! For now, we will keep and use DVC, drive down from PA, and will be trying Universal parks. I was considered a huge Disney fanatic forever, but am getting priced out. It’s really sad! I am glad my kids experienced Disney in It’s prime when it was known for outstanding white glove service, true magical moments and affordable experiences, and you could be called a princess or prince without anyone being offended, or Disney execs saying we eat too much!
