Since Epic is going to have Classic Monsters and Fantastic Beasts, it seems highly unlikely they would repeat the same lands in IOA so soon after Epic opens.
Lord of the Rings would greatly compliment the area, but I would actually love to see Wizarding World to expand into that area but exploring Weasley’s home, The Burrow, an attraction based on the rescue of Harry from Privitt Dr in the Weasley’s car, complete with the encounter with the Whomping Willow. There is still so much that can be mined from the Harry Potter books that has not been explored.
The theory that has been making the rounds the longest is The Legends of Zelda. This would definitely lend itself to the surrounding area. Whatever goes there, I hope it lives up to the reputation of Wizarding Wolrd and Velocicoaster.
As for Rip Ride RockIt… I will miss the skyline effect between Universal and IOA, however, the coaster is just too rough and unpredictable. I would love to see a coaster by a reputable company such as Vekoma, Intimin, B&M or Mack. Ghostbusters would fit nicely into that area, giving New York a new attraction and taking advantage of the still existing Ghostbusters facades.
I don’t see anything replacing Rip Ride RockIt. That coaster was tucked into the edge of the park as a quick addition. As for Lost Continent, the most obvious addition would be a Zelda land which would beget a Universal film franchise. However, a Harry Potter expansion would be the safest option as the Potter world is Universals most successful parks IP. I’d love to see a full blown Middle Earth built as an expansion land at Epic Universe.

I heard that Sony Pictures is doing a live-action The Legend of Zelda movie.
