While I am super excited about the opening of Epic Universe, I am scared of Universal loosing it’s identity. Universal has always been the laid back, easy to navigate, cool park of Central Florida. It never lost sight of the fact that it was welcoming to all people, regardless of background. Articles like this seem to want to make Universal on par with Disney in the fact of catering to the rich and entitled. Universal has to remember how they got where they are.
Many who used to work for Disney lefy to work at Universal because Universal, although a large company treated it’s employees fairly, respected their ideas, and encouraged them to be their best selves. It would be sad to loose another Central Florida icon to the greed and entitlement that has overtaken so many.
I am waiting to hear any word on Express Pass availability for Epic Universe. I will pay whatever it costs to avoid waiting in lines. Express Pass Unlimited is far better than any of the skip-the-line products that Disney World has ever offered.
We are also interested to see what the Unlimited Express Pass offerings will be! About every other Christmas we spend a week in Florida and usually three days at Universal and always add the Unlimited Express Pass. The only ride that UEU doesn’t work for (as of now) is Hagrid’s Magical Motorbike and we waited close to 90 minutes to ride! Being able to use an Express pass would make Epic much more appealing!!
