The closure of Tom Sawyer’s Island, River of America, and removal of paddle boots therein is a wrong move by Disney Management!!! There are millions of families that love exploring Tom Sawyer’s Island and riding these boats as a cool, relaxing respite to the crowds in the Park! The whole point of this large Disney property in Florida was that there was plenty of room for new attractions and expansion(s) – NOT the removal of favorites!!!

None of things are closing nor does Disney have any legal right to remove them. I can confirm they’ll all still be there for the 75th on October 1, 2046 but nothing Pixar will be.

        Ok, SPILL the beans please.
DO TELL how u can confirm.
I’ve been wanting to take my son to Sawyer’s Island when he’s old enough.
Hoping it’ll stay so he can experience it.

“DO TELL how u can confirm.”

That’s his steve persona. That character is from the future. Or time travelled to the future and back. I can’t really keep his story straight.

Either way, I still like steve over his Anne persona. She merely goes against various comments. She’s even gone against two comments that we’re on each side. That character attacks just to attack.

Those two personas — of whomever is behind the screen — can be found in the comments section for many ItM articles.

You don’t know me and you will show proper respect to military men, civvie. You take orders from me, do you understand? You answer “Yes Sir” when asked a question. Part of my job is policing the Disney fandom and silencing wrongthink, and expelling people from the Disney fanbase. It’s called gatekeeping. Yes time travel is real and I helped invent it. I’m posting this from 2067. I will be taking over Disney, undoing the entire Iger era, and will make Disney great again by being the Trump it needs and keeping Disney trapped in the 20th century. The parks will be treated like the Augusta National Golf Club, the home of The Masters. Only Disney traditionalists including those that went during Walt’s lifetime and their descendants will be welcome.

I think you are referring to DL in Anaheim and thr closures are referring ti WDW ib Florida,

        1. Steve

No. I am referring to Florida. No Cars land is ever coming and Villains Land is never happening. It’s fake and a hoax. All things Pixar will be going away to avoid billions in licensing due to the Disney monopoly being broken up under antitrust and the whole Disney Company being shrunk back to the size it was in the 1980s.

Iger waited until AFTER tossing over $300,000,000 at Snow Woke (and other wastes of Disney’s money), before deciding to expand. NOW, the cost to build from scratch will more than they can afford. It’s barely affordable for them to simply reskin (or remodel) what already exists.

Cars is my very least favorite IP because I’m not a pre schooler.

  3. I’m looking forward to riding the Tiana ride. For me Tom Sawyer island and the Riverboat isn’t a big loss. Hopefully they’ll include Radiator Springs Racers with Cars Land. It’s a great ride.

    1. Steve

None of those are going to happen. You will never ride a Tiana attraction because it’s a figment of your imagination. The Rivers of America isn’t closing either and Disney management will go to jail if it tries to remove it. I’ll be enjoying Splash Mountain and the Rivers of America as Owner of Disney with my kids in 2046 for the 75th.

Unfortunately, for Steve, Disney doesn’t own Looney Tunes…that sounds more his speed.

        1. Charlie

No, the truly unfortunate thing is he says he has kids. Poor innocent souls they don’t stand a chance.

          1. Danny O.

The kids is a new one for his character. I don’t really pay attention to his story. It’s just that I notice his responses (and his Anne character’s responses) in the comments section of many ItM articles.

Why ask? Disney only bows down to certain groups who cry alot. I do not like ta.s adventure or it’s location, without even riding the dang thing.

  5. I wish George Floyd’s soul and spirit would revive his old body by God.

  6. Gee the moderator does a crappy job on this site. Allowing these foolish posts time to exit this useless platform

  7. We don’t want Splash Mountain to be replaced. We like Splash Mountain to be Song of the South-related because it’s made in 1989.

I think tianas bayou is a great ride. I just recommend ponchos! You can get soaked!! The imagineers di a great job with the show. There is a lot of technology so it will break down. Theyll get it figured out.
