This is just another sign of Disney losing its way.
They used to have higher standards for guests and castmember safety.
Now it’s all about getting as many bodies into the Parks as possible.
Disney is less concerned about many things. The quality of your stay, food, entertainment, and even castmember training have all gone down.
Years ago you were a guest, and treated as if you were important. Now you are just a number. The company has put the value of the dollar over the value of it’s guests.
Expect things to get worse.
Disney has made the mistake of cramming more into the Parks instead of creating more Parks. You’d think they didn’t have enough land.
As the move ahead with developing Tom Sawyer Island and The Rivers of America, consider the results. This reimagined area will mean more entertainment area, more walkways. That also means, more to see and do along with more walking and more people. Since the area will become flat solid land, they will increase Park capacity.
In other words, the crowds will get larger.
Disney, once a place to take the family for fun and relaxation, has become an overpriced source of frustration and disappointment.
I remember a time other companies paid good money to have Disney teach the Disney way of doing things to their people to their people. This helped improve their employees relations and customer satisfaction.
Those days are long gone.
Done away by corporate greed. The people in charge only care about the mighty dollar and how much goes into their own pockets.
