AI isn’t the answer to everything. In fact, I think we’ll all learn that it may be quite dangerous. That aside, while many characters at WDW do not speak, their actions are often more loving and giving than any words. When you hug a character, you literally feel their warmth. Show me an AI character that has that.
Sorry….I don’t want to interact to character robots walking around. AI has its place, but not in the way it’s being pushed for everything. Humans are going to be very sorry….
It may be innovative, but it’s downright frightening. I’m sorry, but I have no desire to have “loveable” interactions with a robot/droid. Most of what makes Disney and other venues like it is the human interactions. How is it that in Disney trying to be number one, they keep making such short-sighted decisions? Disney needs to give the guests what they want by reading comments written in reaction to articles such as this or the poor reception of attraction replacements like Splash Mountain/Tiana’s Bayou instead of forcing their skewed agenda down thir throats. When Disney starts listening to fans instead of stockholders again, they might be able to get back on the right track!

🤖: I am not a robot.
First of all, that kind of tech is still MANY YEARS away. Secondly, programs can NEVER replace ACTUAL human interaction.
Don’t get me wrong. “A.I.” has its place. It can even be incorporated into Disney. Just not when it comes to the HUMAN experience.
