Exactly as suspected, the whole point of changing the DAS was to be a tax on the disabled by basically forcing them into using the multiple lightning lane system in some form or another.
Let me ask you, once paying this lightning lane pass, do I still have to pay for the regular ticket for the day, or this pass means the regular day pass is included?
You are joking right? Disney is going to upcharge you $$$$ as much as possible. This new lightening lane pass is an extra cost above and beyond your ticket. It’s all about the money to those in power there.
I’m sorry I missed the part that says you are forced to buy this thing. Tens of thousands of people a day do not and have a great time. If you want to you can it’s up to you. Looks like the lot of you here just want to complain about anything. Get a life.
It’s completely about the $$. It makes me sick to think that this is what they have lowered themselves to. I’ve been a passholder since ’89, and have seen costs skyrocket since. The only way they will stop is if the guests quit paying for it, but that will never happen. There will always be those that pay for the extras. Imagine having a family of 6, paying for a one day park hopper, adding this premium pass, the costs are astronomical, but PEOPLE STILL PAY!!!!! I’ve since retired and moved, no longer a pass holder and no longer desire to travel to any of the parks. It’s a shame, but it is all in the bottom line .
Disney charges $450 (per person) as an ADDITIONAL charge with all their other charges. People who can afford it (and some who sacrifice food/water/shelter/breathable air/medical/transportation money to afford the LL cost) pay. Disney found a way to get rich off gullible guests.
Too bad there isn’t another lane to ride the rides. You know…one that doesn’t cost any extra. Oh wait. That’s the lane that cast members are told to ignore. Cast members are told that they send through about TWENTY people from the LL (due to those people paying for it), then five or less from the “stand-by” lane (to fill in any gaps), then back to twenty from LL, and two through five from the “stand-by” lane.
What next? LL for mascot meet & greets?! Or should I not have asked?

FYI Universals Express Pass also only allows use of once per ride

For that price, a person should be able to go on any ride numerous times all day. From what I’ve read you can only use it on one ride once per day?
Ann
If Disney didn’t limit to once per day, it would make the more popular rides much less available for everyone else.

Added cost to your park ticket. Close to $700 total per person on a peak day at Magic Kingdom.
Stella
yes, you still need a park ticket

You Sir are in desperate need of therapy, a girlfriend who doesn’t require air and/or a puppy.
