One step farther away from the true Disney experience, culture, traditions and philosophy … the Walt Era is gone … the Post Walt Era is Gone and the Fortune 500 Era is in its 3rd or 4th iteration … as a Post Walt Era operations and project veteran and without any representation in the decision making, the focus of the company strays farther and farther away … there is no one left who has immediate knowledge of the Walt Disney focus … as we were all methodically removed from the company so Fortune 500 management with a financial focus for the company could move in and slowly compromise the Walt Disney Experience and Values … it is painful to see another generation of Disney ‘wanna be’s’ named to guide the company farther away from Walt … what do these new ‘leaders’ know about Walt’s vision … what was passed on to them 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hand … it is sad because they think they can restore what they don’t know … too bad the company is not interested in involving ‘post Walt Era’ management experience …

Yes, I agree.The leadership of the disney company has been In the toilet the last few years. Which makes me very, very sad.However I will Be Doing a disney trip hopefully in 2026. Universal Studios orlando holds very little interest for me. I saw a commercial for this new epic Park. There’s not one attraction other than maybe harry potter that would make me spend five hundred dollars for a flight from seattle. Perhaps wdw may lose some visitors,however more room for those of us who,still love disney.
$150.00 to go into a park that I didn’t even want to go into because Magic Kingdom was fully booked two weeks ago. Then only able to get onto two rides because I didn’t wanna wait for an hour and a half to get on a ride. Whether you’re liberal or conservative, either way you gotta feel like you’re ripped off when you go to Disney PS I was a lifelong Disney fan
