It confirms what I’ve always known, people truly are very stupid. I’m a grown damn man and I’m still astonished that other adults idolize cartoon characters and theme parks. But then again, they wear another man’s sports jersey in idolization so what should I expect. I’ve become almost a hermit for a couple of reasons- the general population is truly stupid and this tipping culture has been out of control for years, just like rising prices. If I go out, I pay over $70 for bad bar food and watered down drinks and then be expected to tip over 25%? High end restaurants are worse. They’re all bold enough to shove that payment machine in my face with a pre- selected tip of 25%, then I’m bold enough to hit “custom” and put in 1%. FU. Basically every customer oriented business, especially Disney, wants their customers to fully pay for their employees on top of over charging them for mediocre products and ever decreasing service. Yet consumer oriented suckers do it hourly and wonder why they live paycheck to paycheck. California adds a tax for Healthcare for consumers to pay. I’m maximizing my social security retirement and eventually moving to my house in Europe. Every morning I get up, I’m going to face east and flip off the US while thanking them for my maxed out SS payment, whether I need it or not. Reparations for putting up with stupid.
I love Disney Cruise Line and have taken many cruises along with my family. I love Disney ships because they look like a ship. Cruising is just that maybe have an adult only ship where there’s only what’s on the ships now. I don’t want to go on a ship with rides like an amusement park. That’s what DisneyWorld and Disneyland are for. Keep it simple
No one loves Disneyland more than I do, but I haven’t gone since they re-opened. A big reason for that is my tremendous resentment over the outrageous price increases. (There are other reasons too.) They are steadily bleeding us dry. Meanwhile, His Majesty Mr. Iger raked in over $41 million in 2024. Keep it up, Bob.

Prepaid gratuity? Isn’t a tip based on service received?

A recommendation is not a requirement, calm down people.
