This is a bit gross. It is sad that these people got injured. That being said……. There is a freaken loud speaker on every Disney ride/attraction that states “Keep your arms, hand, legs inside the ride vehicle at all times, stay seated at all times, watch out for the ride vehicle when the doors are closing/opening, and watch your step getting off and onto the ride itself.” The recorded voice says it multiple times and I believe in two languages. English and Spanish. Am I correct? So, please don’t tell me that people aren’t warned about potential safety issues. I do feel bad for the people that have gotten injured, severely injured/died, and/or lost something on the ride. But, (at the same time) they’re asking for it. Again, even before you get on the ride there are warning signs about safety on the ride, how tall you have to be, if you have any medical issues that would prevent you from going on the ride, about lose articles of clothing/things that can get lost of broken if you don’t put them away, etc. The recording of the warnings you can hear multiple times, and the cast members also talk to you about what you can/can’t do on the rides. So, again, all though I do feel bad that people get injured, there really isn’t any excuse. The warnings are there for a reason. If you ignore the warnings then sorry but, too bad so sad. My mom heard the warnings, heard the cast members remind her of the warnings, read the warning signs, and yet she forgot to put away her nice sunglasses when we went on the ride Dinosaur. Th e glasses fell either onto the ride vehicle (which they checked and no one fond the sun glasses, or onto the ride itself. So, it was partly her fault for not putting away her sunglasses. Listen to the warnings people. It’s not that hard.
I agree with this. Doesn’t matter that this allegedly took place many years ago, it’s still happening and getting worse. People don’t listen anymore. There’s an air of “you can’t tell me what to do” with some people nowadays and they apparently don’t care if they shut down a ride for an hour. I’m getting sick of rides stopping midway and speakers REPEATEDLY telling people to keep their hands inside. It’s even worse when these people are the PARENTS of the young kids they bring to have fun for the day. Stop ruining it for everyone.
When I was on the ride it’s a small world I sow a person put there fingers in the water and I heard someone telling him to take them out of the water and he did.

Worst of all was a female teen cast member getting crushed to death on the rotating America Sings attraction. Google that.
