A Disneyland Resort guest recently shared a photo on social media after a horse took a toxic spill on Main Street, U.S.A. The iconic equines have been bred and trained to pull streetcars and carriages in parades and other entertainment offerings throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are known for their perfectly manicured, magical environments. The Disney parks aim to avoid any untimely surprises or mishaps in view of guests. But when working with live animals–even well-trained–perfection can’t be guaranteed.

u/thebazookaman recently shared this photo of a pile of horse feces on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Park. The horse chose an unfortunate spot to let loose: a high-traffic part of the parade tracks in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Other Disney Parks fans shared similarly disgusting but memorable tales of the theme park’s beloved horses.
“I swear that’s got to be the horse’s spot,” u/PaulClarkLoadLetter commented. “We had to stop once and got a front row (back side?) view of poop coming out. My son clocked it as we knew he would. ‘Poopie.'”

“I can smell this pic,” u/RockNRoll85 replied.
Luckily, the Disneyland Resort horses have dedicated cast members following them with buckets, shovels, and other necessary tools to clean up any mid-parade accidents. Main Street, U.S.A., likely returned to its picturesque state within minutes of this photo being taken.

Disneyland Resort’s horses live at Circle D Ranch, a custom facility in Norco, California. The top-of-the-line space opened in 2017 and was home to 18 horses at the time.
Walt Disney World Resort also operates a dedicated facility for the horses that entertain guests at its theme parks and Disney Resort hotels: Tri-Circle-D Ranch.
