While last Monday was lower, Saturday,Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday were packed in both parks. We loved Monday, and it was really low in both parks that day compared to the other days. I think it just hit a lul with everyone heading home from the Thanksgiving holiday and everyone arriving for vacation after Thanksgiving.
Was there 12/5. Did DL in the morning with Fastpass and small crowds (Rise of the Resistance was down again). There were longer lines at Starbucks than at most attractions. Did CA Adventure later in the day and enjoyed the food festival and short lines. Weather was great. Could not have asked for a better day.
I tried going to the parks during Christmas week in 2013, and mostly remember barely being able to move in either park. Though DL was worse than DCA. We ended up spending 4 of our 5 days in DCA instead because we literally could not get to the archway between Main St. and Adventureland…the whole thing was literally blocked by a wall of people six deep at least. We stood there for at least 15 minutes without moving before leaving to go to DCA. I am never again going during that week. I guess it didn’t help that particular week happened to be a heat wave and it was sunny and above 80 degrees every day.
We were there on Dec 9th, both parks, they were packed. Some rides closed but reopened, that’s when line was expedient, immediately after reopen. Otherwise lines were 30, 45, 60 min long. We waited 60 min for table at Lampligher Lounge. Try the Lobster nachos!!!!
We were there Candlelight weekend, and it was busy! On the Disneyland side, rides kept breaking down, but the weather was lovely. It’s getting harder to navigate the crowds due to the rescinding of the DAS passes. More scooters everywhere. We missed both performances of Candlelight Saturday night,as the spots we usually would have for handicap and scooters were gone. I saw people on scooters crammed inside the ropes. No way to see anything. Sad
Comments for Disneyland California a “Ghost Town” as Crowds Flee Theme Park

I like that the picture of the “ghost town” at California Adventure” is actually of Disneyland Park.

Went Nov.19th and Disneyland was packed.
Disappointed not knowing to pay to sign up in the morning to ride haunted mansion in the evening.

Why go to Wokeyland in the first place if you know in advance how horribly expensive and crowded it is?
I get more enjoyment from staying home.
