Blizzard Beach closes when it is cold and the forecast for Orlando is 60 degrees . Stop pissing people off who don’t know that . You call that a report ? How about telling us stuff that doesn’t make Disney look bad ? The areas that are closing are to make way for new more modern area’s. Literally the whole area is just to get to the good rides .
I think Disney bloggers are hyper-inflating Disney closures. Rides are refurbished all the time and there is a maintenance schedule for those times. And as the first poster indicated, the water parks close due to cold weather which makes total sense.
With progress, there sometimes has to be closures, such as with Epcot in recent years past and now with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. You cannot on one hand say that Disney needs to evolve the parks then complain when they take the very steps necessary to evolve.
My wife and I had taken the kids every year since they could walk in the early 80’s.
Up until lately around when Covid hit it’s not really enjoyable to come to Disney any longer. You have to make reservations for everything, and the cost has become unaffordable. You charge for things that use to be free . In truth it’s a headache now to come to Disney. We have stopped and started taking cruises which are a lot cheaper than Disney and that’s for the family. Bye the way Disney cruises are way overpriced.
Disney needs to come back to reality.
