We’ve been regularly visiting the parks for years. We’d make annual trip to the resort when we lived out of state, and we’re annual pass holders until WDW took away the DAS accommodations for disabled guests in their American parks. We canceled our passes and know of others who have cancelled their packages because the American theme parolee not accessible to them without DAS.

I agree! The only reason why I am going is because I have a magic key pass and it doesn’t expire until March so I figured I’ll probably use it maybe one or two last times since I have to pay for it anyway, but I won’t be renewing, and I will be coming back not only is the magic surely disappearing, but Disney has lost its soul and completely lost their way Turning their backs on their disabled community of people who have been loyal to them for years and treating them all like garbage and creating this hostile ugly environment with basically getting their cast members the OK to act like tyrants on a power trip. It’s just too much it’s just not even worth it to spend over $200 a month on the magic key pass when they treat you like trash that you’re just expendable because you’re disabled and they don’t want to accommodate disabled people anymore. They’ve made that abundantly clear they don’t even want proof that you’re disabled, because they don’t want to accommodate you And I’ve heard such horror stories, and how badly they’re treating their guests that are disabled and part of me doesn’t even want to use the pass that I’m paying for an hour but I guess I figured I’ll get some use out of it since I have to pay for it but I definitely won’t be renewing. I’m done with Disney after this , I am hoping a lot of people will be as well and I hope they eventually get sued for disability discrimination because it is discrimination when they tell you that you have to buy or purchase anything for an accommodation or when they tell you that you’re not eligible because you’re not autistic or you’re not, I just took enough for the pass just the way they in general abuse people on the phone who try to get a pass and then they punish you for trying by blocking you for meeting attempting to ask for accommodations. I don’t know how they’re getting away with all this but I can’t wait to see them get sued in court for millions probably be the only way they’ll change their policy unfortunately the Disney is definitely want the place that used to be!

People are not skipping the Parks. Everyday during the holidays are booked from hotels restaurants and the parks. Try getting a reservation.

lol they usually see 700,000 on a super busy week and regular weeks are maybe 400-500,000

Wouldn’t it be cool if the tourists stopped coming? Wouldn’t it be cool if they stopped moving here and investing what used to be a great state? Bring back the swamp.

Went one year at xmas, will never go again on any holiday. Too many people you can not enjoy yourself with that many people there. Also walts dream was for it to be affordable to everyone. Lol well that dream is gone. You have to have at least 5k to go there for a week and that’s if you starve.

Forcing DAS users to Lightning lane cost Disney $20k from my family this year.

    Have a magical day!

Wait 120 minutes for a 1 minute ride only to get off that ride to wait another 2 hours for another ride . Getting to old for this

Debbie Downer wrote this… parks are sold out…

    1. Once upon a time there was a place called Disney World where families could come for an enjoyable vacation, then the greedy left wing liberals took over destroying the family stmosphere by forcing their political views onto the park, destroying the artistry of their entertainment, and jacking up the prices to a ridiculous level. Funny because Universal seems to have it right. Eventually Disney will fall out of favor snd either return to its roots or disappear.

Oh good grief. Stop with the liberal blaming. Just because Florida is being dragged into the 21st century doesn’t mean liberals have anything to do with Disney’s problems. THEY are the ones who have made these changes. I stopped getting an annual
        pass a few years ago.

Just returned from Disneyworld. It truly was one of the worst experiences of my life. My daughter did a wonderful job planning, passes, etc. but the crowds were awful. I will never return!
We also got the flu 3 days after returning home. I paid a fortune to go to hell!

I used to get sick a lot from Disneyland. Use hand sanitizer after every ride and wash hands. It really helps.

Let’s face it Disney has gone cheap I got married there and am all done why let’s start at cxl the Osbourne show, then illuminations , electric parade and the food at ohanas sucks use to be grilled now you get chicken thighs

Also this year they changed the mery merry Christmastine song to louse song can’t believe they changed it who’s running that place …..so sad

Crowds, congestion, high food prices, high ticket prices and wait times are through the roof unless your in the “priviledged few that can afford $400 Lighting passes………why would anyone want to tolerate this?????

Disney is a joke! Went a couple of times abd I HATED everything about it! LINES SUCK, the food is subpar at best and waaaaayyy too expensive.
Ticket prices are astronomical, hotels in the area overcharge but they stay a little cheaperthan the disney one’s. You couldn’t pay me enough to ever go back!
Lastly, it is so cheesy with most of the rides being totally campy!

My son, daughter in-law and grandkids are all their now got their Saturday and won’t be back till January 6th 2025. Disney isn’t hurting for guests lmao 🤣.

Your article is BS… gas prices are lower than they been a year. Highways are packed with traffic and where do you think they are heading Disney, Universal, Legoland. I see I live here.

  16. BUGKILLER

No true floridian goes anywhere near there this time of year. And with soarin’ ticket prices, is it really worth it
Once you get in the gates you would be lucky to get a couple favorite rides and maybe a show. Truly an expensive trip to not get the magical experience you expect.

I’ve seen plenty of YouTube videos of the Holliday stuff of Disney. It looks nice. The comments that I’ve read aren’t that great. Some people have stated that for the price that you pay for any of the Holliday events at WDW (Halloween and Christmas) that it’s not worth it at all. This year MVMCP can cost up to $200.00’s per adult. That’s way too much money. I’ve read that the quality of the food isn’t that great either. And, that the lines can also be as long as it is during the regular park hours. So, nope. Not really worth it Fromm what I’ve read. So, I’ll never go to any of these Holliday events at WDW.

My family went to Disneyland CA on Christmas Day in the late ‘90’s. Never again. It was so crowded even back then that all you had to do was get in the middle of the big crowd (which was impossible to avoid anyway) raise you legs and crowd would carry you along. No ECV needed! 😄
