A diverse group of Disney cast members, mostly young adults, are standing closely together, smiling, and looking ahead. They are all wearing teal uniforms with badges. Some are holding hands, creating a sense of unity and celebration. The background shows more people in similar attire.

This officer needs to be retrained! He pulled me over, after I sped through a red light in a hurry to get somewhere. He dared ask me for my name! How INSENSITIVE! He even asked me for license and registration…as if I stole my own car?! I want him FIRED! He even had the AUDACITY to ask ME why he pulled me over?!? He needs to be RETRAINED!

Nope. Still doesn’t make sense to me. Then again, this is what you get when the world is full of people whose childhood included lots of certificates for pooping. Disability/disorder or not. Entitlement or simply agoraphobic/introvert. Even having anxiety disorder doesn’t mean that someone showing concern for your well being and/or enjoyment of the park is the bad guy.

Thank you for a voice of Reason. It is amazing at how unhinged some people get these days.

This week saw in Disney Springs at Gideons a small “service dog” in a baby stroller. Can’t make these things up fast enough. Gonna ask for snow when 90 degrees next or comllain where is the magic and life isn’t fair.

I don’t see what the problem is. The CM’s were just making small talk. As long as they don’t touch and/or distract the service dog then they’re ok. I’m pretty sure that the CM’s asked the specific question(s) about the service dog to see what condition the handler has so that the CM’s can assist if a problem arrises. This wasn’t done in bad taste. It was ment to assist the person with the health issue. If she really didn’t want to get the CM’s fired, then why ask for their names and/or location of their work area? At the same time, all CM’s should have at least some basic training on guests that may have certain health issues so that if something occurs, then they’ll know what to do in order to assist in the situation.
