I love Disney and totally enjoy the opportunity to leave my troubles behind and enter into the magic. As a child I was not able to go to Disneyland, the first time I went I was in my 20s. My husband grew up watching Disneyland as it was built and his family went many times. While he is not as enthralled with it as I am he does enjoy going. This next spring vacation will be spent in Los Angeles and to get my buy-in he suggested a short Disneyland stay. So we are spending three days at Disneyland and staying at the Disneyland Hotel then moving to Downtown Los Angeles for a few weeks to see the museums and other cultural and scientific attractions. It is a win-win and we are both happy. Compromise works, and it has for us for 33 years.
So sad when Disney corrupts people so much that they may break up marriages. Disney is liberal garbage and if people can’t see that and want to continue shelling out thousands of dollars to them…well, it’s just sad. Feel very sorry for the husband.

We went to Disney World during our honeymoon. In-laws have taken us on Disney trips (Land & World alternate) two other years (before the pandemic). Went to Disneyland after the pandemic.
