I understand well why Dollywood might fill up as it is the best place to take your family in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. I’m so glad this year we went in early November before the Christmas crowds. I’m sure they will come up with a solution as Dollywood is very well run.

No, I didn’t visit it because I can’t afford it. I would love to visit it again with my friend but on limited income. I used to live in Knoxville, Tn in 1997.

Horrible experience. Not as bad as Disney in FL, only because we didn’t spend $300 per ticket. Overcrowded on their, “least busy day,” according to their website. $210 to get in for my wife and myself. $25 for parking. We weren’t there for any more than 90 minutes before we left. Three hour wait times for any kind of food. Absolutely a debacle. Will not be back. Four years ago, we had a blast. Not now.

I live close and no longer visit because my daughter is handicapped and we can’t afford it. Dot

Went on the 28th of December for my mom’s 60th birthday. I had a season pass with a “bring a friend” ticket for her, she rented an ecv, and got a disability pass. The cold and rain sucked, we parked out at Splash Country which also sucked, but the trams came quickly and the park was warm and welcoming as always. The rides and food are always worth the wait!

We were there on New Years eve. It wasn’t overcrowded and we saw three shows with no wait time at all. The longest line was for the cinnamon bread. We’ll worth the 10 minute wait. Parking wasn’t a problem either. I’ve never had a bad time at Dollywood.
