Trump vs. Disney: The President’s Plan to Tear Down the Entertainment Giant by 2028

Comments for Trump vs. Disney: The President’s Plan to Tear Down the Entertainment Giant by 2028

Donald Trump wearing a black suit, white shirt, and red tie, is speaking into a microphone. His hands are raised, and his mouth is open in mid-speech. A crowd is visible in the background, along with a sign that partially reads "MAKE AMERICA," reminiscent of a scene from Captain America 4 within the MCU.

  1. I intend to fight alongside Disney. Down with the conman Trump.

    1. Steve

We’d rather have Trump running Disney than Crooked Bob. When I take over Disney I will usher in the Make Disney Great Again era that sees the whole Iger era undone. Every decision will be made by asking “What would Walt do?” again. And with Disney being broken up like Standard Oil, Ma Bell and Google were that means no more Marvel, Star Wars, or Pixar in the parks.

To trump, you’re just another sucker who lure you in with false promises.

        1. Steve

No. Trump keeps his promises. We are Death Eaters to his Voldemort. Walt Disney himself would be on Trump’s side. He was a conservative

          1. Kathy

            You are correct

          2. Lisa

Agree!! Disney fans are done with woke agenda!!! Get rid of Katey Burke and do NOT bring in Dana!!!!

          3. Doug

He was also a big time racist.
            Just like Trump

          4. Steve

No, Walt Disney was absolutely not racist at all. Tell that to Floyd Norman, Mary Blair, Marty Sklar, Bob Gurr, and the Sherman brothers.

        2. What would Jesus do. We need more love not hate.

          1. True. and the only thing Trump is causing is more hatred.

        3. Katie

I live near Chicago. You have it backwards. Democrats have ran my county since 1948, and nothing here has improved. Cps students read at a 17% and math at 19%, crime increases, property taxes soar(we are near3.5%) . But keep drinking the kool aide.

      2. Absolutely correct! I think the man is going to be far to busy trying to fix this country instead!

        1. Katie

Exactly. The big mess it’s in

      3. Miss Michelle

I don’t believe Trump has “our” best interest. I don’t trust nor like Trump. That’s my opinion. And Trump isn’t a Disney kind of guy.

      4. Sandy

Totally agree. It’s all about WALT Disney NOT politics. Storytelling in Walt’s view only. Bring back WALT DISNEY, his love of family and good old fashioned Values and Morals. Please!!!

      5. RoiRed

        You are a certified idiot!

        1. Steve

You will show proper respect to a serviceman, civvie. I outrank you. Yes Disney is getting broken up and I will take it over and make it great again. I will undo the whole Iger era and cater to the purists only. Disney must make every decision by asking what Walt would do like it did for decades after his passing and will again under my leadership.

    2. Get over it ! You lost ! Knowone cares.

  2. Disney is hardly this important !

    1. JTM

trump is attacking everything American he wants to be worshipped as a god, an icon, yet he is nothing more than a con-man and the records shows that, his time will come when he loses everything.

      1. Katie

        🤣🤣
Yeah he is attacking everything American. Wanting to lower inflation, get rid of criminals that continue to cause crimes here, is attacking Americans. 🤣

  3. BLANCA BALDEON

stop showing no family and children interest and will not be problem

  4. Matt

You would think someone with a disgusting fondness for children who was best friends with epstein would be a big fan of any place with so many children around… conservative “boycotts” tend to do nothing but increase a companies revenue. They tried to boycott Nike and their sales climbed double digits, same with Starbucks. I’m surprised more companies are begging for a boycott by the deplorables… what a silly thing for someone in the oval office to even think of. There are far more important issues.

    1. Dave 62

I think disney needs to let all disney fans vote on igers replacement? We don’t need any kamala supporters. We all seen how that worked out ..wrong direction

      1. I think you might be surprised. Biden did much better in most cases that trump’s “good” concepts. Such as Job growth, cost of living going down, the US stock market liked Biden, violent crimes, especially homicides, have fallen -accomplishments listed by Bloomberg.

        1. Katie

🤣🤣🤣 did you see the job reports? Most were government jobs, sir.

Under trump we had little to no inflation, low invasion of illegals, we had more money to spend, groceries were not insane. Oh and there was a e.o. tossed so they could drill. Unlike the past 3 years of gas going up and so does everything else.

Plus, go tell that to a neighbor that Biden really did better. That they are only imagining their costs going up.

Also didn’t kamala burn though over 1 billion and a half dollars in 177 days? Also in debt over 20mil? And that you believe would run the country better?🤣🤣🤣

If bidens administration would have been better the INCUMBENT would have won.

    2. Kathy

      You’re telling lies.
      🤦‍♀️

Disney will not suffer because of Trump. Disney is already suffering because of Bob Iger. Bob Iger, through his political agenda intruding into all aspects of Disney’s enterprises, has squandered the trust that began with Walt and continued until Iger replaced Michael Eisner. Parents and Grandparents alike, the key decision makers on which movies famikies see, and which vacations families take, no longer trust Disney to provide wholesome, family-friendly entertainment. Bob Iger is a Viper. Be gone, Iger!

    1. Disney is only suffering because its prices have certainly increased. I don’t think leadership and a political agenda has necessarily had anything to do with it.

      1. RandyC

See B Smith’s comments below. Also, read Disney’s SEC filing where they said guests not aligned with their social messaging were likely to continue staying away from Disney’s product offerings and would thereby negatively impact revenue. Disney disclosed this, not some right wing cable news show. Iger’s political agenda has hurt Disney’s business.

    2. Kathy

      You know it!
There was never supposed to be any politics only family oriented.

  6. B Smith

I’m in the UK and has been visiting Disney on both coasts for 45 years. I consider myself neither a liberal nor a right winger. I won’t be visiting Disney again. I gave up on them when they thought it was acceptable to give the role of the evil queen, a woman, to a man. I gave up when they race swapped the Little Mermaid, ignoring the history and the heritage of the story. I gave up on them for good when I found out they were happy to finance hormones and surgery for children. I’m not giving another penny to a company that does any of those things. It’s nothing to do with politics, it’s what’s moral or ethical and none of those actions are.

    1. Dave 62

You are very correct, thanks for standing with true old way disney fans!!!

    2. lmariel

Can’t argue with any of that. I hope Disney finds it way and soon.

    3. Michael

      100% this.

  7. Dave 62

If they lowered top brass salaries, they could probably lower ticket prices down to like $50. Instead if ripping us off at $150. Apparently iger isn’t worth his pay disney going in the wrong direction and down the drain.

    1. Michael

I agree. Walt wanted his park(s) to be a place all people and families could go to and enjoy. If he were alive today I think he would ask how can we make the parks affordable for everyone again? How do you satisfy the public and the investors as well? Cutting salaries of top brass could help, but I think building more parks (I would have built at least three between the other two) with indigenous offerings at each- that would satisfy the demands of the fan-base would have addressed the dilemma. Build the company- keep to the IP’s – offer good value for all- add new IPs with creative new artists- strive for quality and professional development in all areas, and watch the growth of the ideas Walt started. Stick to the conservative values he had as well which always works for everyone.

      1. Dave

        Go Disney love it

  8. Katy Edwards

No politician can force a private business to shut down, WDW and DL will be around for years to come. As for HOP, I think it’s time to tear it down to make room for something new.

    1. Steve

Wrong. Politicians can tell a business how to run itself. WDW and DL will be sent backwards to the 20th century and be made great again. The HOP is never going away either. It’s time for nothing new to ever be built and time to close down Imagineering after bringing back a lot of old things like Mr. Toad, Alien Encounter, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Horizons, Maelstrom. etc. It’s not like people will stop coming if nothing new is ever built.

  9. Kathy

Disney are owners of MSM and that’s the problem.
Disney should have stayed in their lane and out of politics.

  10. Dave

    Go Disney love it

MAGA will learn what Trump is about (himself). Quite a few are backing away slowly from that cult — as they find out the hardships in their future (due to his plans).

Unfortunately, Disney is on the other side of the extreme spectrum. They forgot what Walt stood for. They placed monetary units on each checkbox they can mark off. They added costs to make up for mistakes costing them $400,000,000+ (the last I heard). They removed (and plan on removing more of) what Disney originally stood for. And they DON’T have a cult blindly following them.

At least Disney can learn. Disney can improve (after their value plumets). Disney can understand why you don’t alienate people with disabilities. Disney can figure out why erasing history will only lead to worse hardships. Disney might even be able to see that the Disney fanbase shouldn’t be tossed aside to promote to those who can’t afford anything without their parents’ money.

In this battle, I only know it’s loser vs. loser. I’m hoping Disney struggles; but ultimately comes out better. I’m hoping they learn what fight they NEED to take…in order to bring back the people who hold Walt’s vision above corporate greed! Only THEN, will Disney be able to push back MAGA and the dictatorship that cult desires.

  12. Paul

As a Disney shareholder I am disgusted regarding all of this WOKE. Disney needs to go back the way it was , hopefully Trump will make it happen !!!

  13. Stephen

Perhaps he will go after Disney. But, Comcast Universal has been even more of a thorn in Trump’s side. Specifically, MSNBC.

  14. John S.

I was personally fine with The Little Mermaid last year and I don’t see anything wrong with Sam Wilson as Captain America going up against Red Hulk.
