Yeah, it’s another example of the haves and have nots, totally unfair. Lightening passes should be abolished to put everyone back on a level playing field so we can all enjoy Disneyland again.

      💯% agree!

The whole lightning lane/premier is just an outright disgrace.

Thank you so much Disney. This is awesome! You made it so I can not afford the parks and will not be back till you fix the problem. Thank you for saving me money by not going to the parks.

  4. The best time to go to not wait so long is a party. They don’t have lightning lane.

I personally appreciate lightening lane options. Allows those of us who don’t live close to the parks to maximize our days. We only go about 3-4 times a year due to distance. And with lightening lane only being $25-35 a day, not a huge investment. Would never pay $400 for the unlimited. I do think an extra $14-15 to ride Radiator Springs Racers is excessive but on days when you don’t want to wait- feels like a bargain.

Only 3-4 times per year?? Must be nice.

My wife & I have been going once every five or so years. We can’t afford it, ourselves. Luckily, my wife’s parents are rich enough (they take us to Disney).

My wife & I would enjoy our few days (less than a week) at the parks via: 30% rides, 30% mascots/photo ops, 30% shows & concessions/shopping, and 10% just enjoying being at Disney (and exploring).

This coming up time (2025) will be our third round with my wife’s family (fourth time at Disney). Things will be different, though. 40% mascots/photo ops, 30% trying to figure out how to afford that $5 pack of gum, 15% walking around Disney and remembering the enjoyment it used to bring, and 15% (if we’re lucky) rides.

Demand and supply, what can they do? BTW, I think we need a way to walk to destition when there is a parade. Underpass?

The entry cost continues to go up making it unaffordable for a family if the plan is to charge 300 to 400 why not build them their own line so that the customers dont feel cheated? It is supposed to be a fun experience for kids?

“supposed to be a fun experience for kids”

What utter nonsense! Where do you think you are…some place with the values of Walt Disney?! This is a park for giving as much money to Disney as you can! Guest enjoyment is on the back burner somewhere.

I guess kids enjoy not knowing how much you have to shell out for them to explore the park. And they don’t mind not knowing all those added expenses for them to ride on the rides.

We were Annual pass holders for 30+ years. We didn’t renew 4 years ago because it no longer was pleasant to visit the parks. For 4 years we did DVC resort stays only utilizing only the mini golf courses and venues available outside the parks. We had planned to visit parks again this upcoming March trip, but I’m starting to think that will not be the case now. We are pushing 80, and it’s too big a hassle to try to plan a park visit anymore. It’s been good while it lasted, but I’m divorcing Disney parks from now on!!

I’ve never seen a theme park rise in guest attendance before! Everyone seems to be flocking over there! Harry Potter. Nintendo. They have EVERYTHING! And Disney is even nice enough sending their former guests over there.

Yup. Disney makes changes — and Universal FLOURISHES!

This lightning lane scheme to make money is the last straw. I am done with Disney after after bring over 2000 disadvantaged children to the World over 34 years. No longer affordable or enjoyable. Between the woke and the pricing they are nuts. Disney is now all about money and guest experiences no longer matter. Sorry Walt. We all loved you and what you build, but this Iger guy and most of the current “team” are an insult to you4 memory.

Go back to the old, free fast pass. It worked well.

I came to Disney on Monday 11/25 and watched everyone cut through every line with their lightning passes so coming back Friday 11/29, I purchased 5 lightning passes. It was close to 240$. I used it ONE time!!?!??? Lines said “60 minutes” and were so much faster and if I reserved a ride at 1:30pm and it was 10:30, then I couldn’t reserve another one. What a scam!!

Happened to me at Disneyland few months ago. Posted time at space mountain was 29 minutes, we waited about 50 minutes then decided to tap out. Line was literally a SNAIL crawl. We got close to merge point and saw them letting soooo many people in LL through, steady stream. Happens when ride breaks down. All the people with LL or ME pass come flooding back. Seems like standby will be short but not with all the priority people flooding in!
