Neither are useless comments on this site…

My sons and grandsons took me to The ride for my birthday. The whole ride was working perfectly. Kylo Ren had no issues.

      Haha you win. Bravo

Its really a shame. You give people a million dollars and they’ll complain they didn’t get two million. Even at half capacity, the ride is still incredible.

From my understanding, the laser cannons are permanently disabled, because the ride carts were often mistaking the moving cannons as an unwanted obstruction on their programmed path, causing a complete ride shutdown

That’s so unfortunate. That’s really my favorite part of the ride. It’s just not the same without that experience.

This really has nothing to do with the ride, but it is about Star Wars. I’m 50 years old, seen the originals when they first came out, and loved everything Star Wars ever since. The problem with Star Wars are like everything else, the fans today are so dam toxic. I have noticed with the later fans, it seems all they want is thr original cast in every Star Wars movie ever made. Lucas didn’t create this world just to focus on the Skywalker name. The original 9, yes, but so many characters were introduced throughout all the movies that stories can go on and be told forever. As time goes on we lose people to all kinds of things, so it would be completely unrealistic to keep doing movies with the same cast over and over and over. That’s exactly what these toxic fans seem to want. I’m sorry, but the only movie I really didn’t like was The Last Jedi. I thought they are all great movies. I just wish we got to see what we was supposed to have seen in The Rise of Skywalker. The uncut version.

If all the fans are toxic that means the product itself creates toxicity. You can’t seem to comprehend this?

I know last time we went on the ride, the entire boarding section to the ship was down. We took a smelly back hallway, with an actual IRL car that you can see, behind the scenes to the First Orders ship. Kylo was in B Mode and almost nothing was working properly. I remember going on that ride the first two months it released and it was incredible. I know if I was spending over thousands of dollars to go, that ride currently is extremely disappointing if that continues.

Reportedly the B mode is a 22% chance in 2024

It’ll be gone in less than a decade due to Disney being broken up like Standard Oil and ordered to sell off its acquisitions resulting in the end of Star Wars in the parks to avoid billions in royalties for IP they no longer own. George’s family will be handed Lucasfilm back on a silver platter by Uncle Sam.

This is sad. I went a few times in June to Disney. My parents and I waited 75 minutes to go on TROTR and it was so cool. Now (sadly) it seems that they really don’t care as much about that specific ride. Also, it’s not just that ride that’s having issues. Some of the older/classic rides are also having technical issues. They just don’t care about quality anymore. It’s more about what new things can we add and not spend any money/time refurbishing the older rides. With the exception of Thunder Mountain which will be closed for a year for refurb. I just hope that whomever they choose to take over Igers job is someone that care about the quality of everything, knows what they’re doing, helps financially get top quality refurbs/rides in all the parks, brings back the quality of the food that WDW used to be known for, brings back (if not all some) of the free perks that we loved for years, etc. I doubt that most of these things will happen though.

I was at disneyland a few weeks ago and rode the rise of the resistance ride and thought it was a good ride. But in the pre-show they moved us into a large hanger with alot of storm troopers. Then moved onto the next section about 5 minutes later. Was something supposed to happen in the hanger??

No matter what still want to see and get on the ride at least once before they decide to kill it

I was at WDWR this past week on a 3-day park hopper… Day-1 my family rode both Star Wars rides on 24NOV/SUN. I didn’t experience any malfunctions in them. Now I don’t know the difference between modes A or B. I’ve only ridden the rides twice. The first time was around Halloween 2021, on a 4-day hopper. All animatronics, audio & visual appeared to just fine…

I went on this a few weeks ago. The line was almost 2 hours and the ride was short best bit the line up of storm
troopers and having photo taken wirh one.
