Disney obviously has strict rules about safety for everyone. Why is it so difficult for people to understand that? I guess that some people don’t care about anyone’s safety. This is really getting ridiculous. Almost every other Disney related story is of some idiot putting people’s lives at risk by not listening to simple safety instructions. Dude!!!!!! It’s not that hard to sit down and wait for further instructions. Parents also need to explain to their kids that these things happen. Rides shut down and they have to stay seated for safety reasons. Years ago I was in Spaceship Earth. The CM’s stated that you should take off your hats and glasses. Someone in front of us forgot to and the hat (the person threw it I think) fell on the ride floor and the ride had to be stopped for about 20 minutes for the CM’s to get the hat out of under the ride vehicle. What’s up with people?? Seriously!!!! Stop doing such dumb things. Listen to the rules and follow them. Things would run more smoothly and faster if you were to listen to basic instructions.
Some families will not take small children on certain rides because they know that they cannot listen and stay seated if something were to go wrong with the ride. I have friends who will not take their child until he’s over the age of two because there’s so much that a young child infant or toddler can’t do. They they have a tradition when the child turns to they book a character, dining experience, and had special pictures taken at the carousel. They only do a few things with the two year-old because they know that two-year-old will not be able to do everything. They stay in a resort and we’ll go back to the room for naps and experience things in the Resort as well . Parents should know their children and know what rides would not be a good idea for such young children who have a hard time sitting still.
