I have to assume increased costs are part of the take-it-to-the-bank attitude. That includes higher labor costs, wages as well as comparable benefits. But Disney as a whole makes an awful lot of money as it is. That won’t continue if more would-be guests decide the magic is just a trick. Leadership probably won’t react pro-guest until they don’t see as many people come through the gates, or attendance rises appreciably at other theme parks.
If the next CEO chooses to prioritize guest experience!!???
IF??? IF???
Whoever it is BETTER prioritize guest experience because that is what pays for their salaries and general support at the parks.
I’ve been a Disneyfile since 1960!! when I first visited DL. I’ve spent time at one park or another at least 4 times a year since!
I have sadly noticed the downturn in everything Sisney over the last 10 years. You can’t blame it all on the pandemic.
Staff, Sites, and everything else has grown a huge case of overall tiredness. FIX IT!!!!!!

I gave up going last summer because it wasn’t worth it just walking around to look at things. I’m 78 with bad knees & my urologist said no upside down rides that could dislodge kidney stones in each kidney. So without a reduced price for older seniors over 75, it’s just not worth it anymore! I’ll just head out to the pool in my timeshare 😂
Sad direction Disney has gone and all WDW parks have gone is disappointing and also for park enthusiasts who care.
We have been going to WDW since our children were in first and third grade. They are now in their late 40s. My wife and I even once to Disneyland after coming home from serving in Iraq in 2010.
We have been Annual Pass holders for years and we use to have many perks that have dwindled over the years.
Disney starting going downhill when alcohol was introduced and then became “Drinking Around the World. The drunk mayhem became very disappointing.
Then removal of the Street Players in United Kingdom and France which were great! This disappeared like many great street entertainment. The Jamitors are the last of the Street Players. I have noticed some new ones on our last trip this year which was refreshing.
Please bring back the “Family” atmosphere.
This will stop the altercations in all the parks.
The family atmosphere has slowly disappeared over the years. Hope someone realizes it before the parks disappear.

The reason I prefer a party is not many people use lightning lane. All the lines are much faster.
